Anthony Montana delivered!! The one vendor my fiancee and I were worried about selecting was an officiant. Being a non-religious, modern couple, we did not want the "traditional" old man officiant, yet we definitely did not want someone who didn't take his/her job professionally or someone who was too over-the-top. I was so excited to find Better Together Matrimonies on Yelp. After reading through all of the reviews, I was hopeful that he would be the right match for us, but I wanted to be sure. Anthony met with us for a complimentary consultation and right away, my husband and I loved him. Anthony is real, humble, enthusiastic, likable and you can 100% tell how passionate he is about what he does. While he is involved in the church and I'm sure he would also be an excellent fit for religious ceremonies, he did not make us feel awkward or preach on us in any way when sharing his story that led him to where he is today. Anthony actually informed us during the consultation that his wife was currently in LABOR (OMG), which shows his commitment to his clients, even though I would have 1000000% rescheduled, had I known (esp being a mother myself). Any way, we knew we needed Anthony to be our officiant so we booked him! Anthony's assistant was very easy to coordinate with and the questionnaire they provided was simple to go through and choose our wording preferences for the ceremony. Any questions or changes we had, Better Together Matrimonies helped with no issues. When the big day arrived, Anthony showed up promptly, asked a few questions, held on to my vows book and delivered!! His personality shined through the ceremony and my guests absolutely loved him. I think Anthony has an incredible ability to "read" a couple, even having only truly met him for the hour consultation, he was able to fool our guests into thinking he was a personal friend of ours with some of the comments he had made during the ceremony, highlighting our personality traits and how we are to each other as a couple. I was also pleased to see selfies of Anthony with some of our other wedding vendors. Just knowing that he is friendly within the wedding industry and knows other vendors pretty well was icing on the cake for our decision to go with Better Together Matrimonies. Prior to booking better together matrimonies we were given a brochure at Stonebridge manors June extravaganza. Later finding out the prices expired back in may (false advertising) . When I called and complained was told there was nothing they could do since it's third party vendor, so I paid for the services I needed. Not even a few days later I get a quote with original pricing almost $2000 less than what I paid for . When we called back I was directed to Anthony the ceo . He spoke with my aunt and they had bonded over family passings and wanting to make it a special day for me . We were told they upgraded services which included him as officiant . Two days before the wedding we were told by the videographer no such thing shows on his end about pkg upgrade. Keeping in mind I had an officiant already through stonebridge , I was not paying for one through better together. We got in touch with anthony through Katie his assistant and he was nasty , unprofessional and felt this was not the same man of god we spoke to a month or so prior. He was like I don't get what they don't understand and when my aunt brought up the convo he flipped out and said you went there . No ill will was meant but as a way of reminding him of what he said .When he said upgraded services we thought that meant what I paid for. Okay, so mis communication between everyone. Anyways it gets worse . Anthony the ceo of the company showed up 5 mins before the ceremony and then introduced us with the wrong last name. We felt this was done intentionally. Ruined part of wedding video and end of ceremony . What was supposed to be the best part of our day turned into loss of words and disappointment with the services he provided. Did we get an apology , NO! I will never recommend your services as an officiant . As for the vendors used Patrick (video) and Mryiam (photo) thank you your help . You both did a great job! My husband's childhood experience was very different compared to mine. Even as adults we have taken opposite paths then one another. Me and my fiancé (now hubby) had agreed to interview a few officiants before we hired one. But as soon as we sat down with Anthony we knew he was the one! We loved his persona and can tell he loves his career in helping people get married and even offers counceling sessions for people to help stay married lol. We had the opportunity to have Mr. Montana officiant our ceremony on our big day on March 21st 2025. We were able to personalize the script with Ms. Sydney and add some not so normal touches such as our favorite line from the original "Scary Movie" to the end of the ceremony. We decided on the sand part during the ceremony and we got to take a minute of silence for our loved ones that were there in spirit. Overall, it was a beautiful ceremony and we still get compliments to this day on how wonderful it was. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning with names, but we were able to laugh it off since things happen and move forward with ease. I thank Mr. Montana very much for making it personalized and fun, while also elegant and beautiful. We hired Anthony for our wedding May 19, 2018 and he was great! Before the wedding he was highly responsive, accepting e-mails, phone calls and texts made him super easy to get a hold of. His ceremony planning sheet and questionnaire made the process a breeze from start to finish. On the day of the wedding he was there ahead of time prepared, dressed very professionally and ready to go. The day turned out to be really hot, so I greatly appreciated Anthony not drawing out the ceremony as well as incorporating funny little quips in regarding the heat/sun. It was exactly what we had asked for, personal, meaningful, but not a hour and a half long. Anthony also took care of submitting the marriage license for us in a highly prompt manner (we received the final paper work only a week and a half later). As stated in a previous review, Anthony is a last minute hero! Our officiant was unsure if he would be able to officiate our wedding due to a medical emergency. He told us to come up with an alternative plan, just in case. Our coordinator called Anthony and asked him if he could be " on call " for SUPERBOWL SUNDAY. Anthony waited the entire week for our response and 48 hours before our wedding was able to step in for us! We quickly were able to get on the phone with him and felt as though he had been our friend for years. It never felt like he was second best, honestly, it worked out EVEN BETTER!
