Even though those are available, due to being inexperienced my original appointment schedule randomly picked days each week with random times. I had most of them moved to a schedule. I had multiple appointments cancelled by them and re scheduled. I missed one appointment, office said two, she immediately got defensive, argumentative followed with raising her voice. Being an adult and having a child yell at me when trying to figure out the billing problem was unacceptable. I cancelled my future appointments even though insurance was covering my appointment's. Sometimes even free comes with a cost.

I had been to others that did the "flying seven", ...a wham-bam way to get clients through with a set amount of cracks that have little regard for your actual ailment. That is NOT Mid-Valley. They carefully ask what is bothering you, warm up the area, and then work their way around your body and actually find the problem spots. Typically the patient will feel it just as the doc locates the problem spot with his knowledgeable fingers. Dr. Aptecker Sr. adjusted a rib that had been out for 20yrs in my estimation. I had no idea and for the first time in my adult life I was standing upright. Mid-valley gave me good advice on how I could help myself at home and did not try to schedule me with some set number of future appointments whereby they could guarantee their revenue. They use a drop table, manual adjustments, and an activator, amongst other tools of the trade. The practice recently changed hands to the daughter and her business partner from the previous doc. The two are carrying on with good practice. Dr. Wilson did a very fine job adjusting me the other day and I feel great today and decided I needed to yelp about it!

For about 6 months it was interfering with my ability to even walk. As soon as I walked in the office Dr. Cool was extremely thorough in determing the exact cause and possible factors contributing to my condition. It was an injury to my IT Band which is often treated through surgery. After one treatment from Dr. Cool my pain was gone and my knee has never bothered me since, even while continuing long distance running.
