Mostly a Christian book store with some philosophy and psychology new and used books mixed in, Better Books & Bibles is quite good, but isn't great. I've gone there in the past 3 years to purchase a couple bibles and resource books, but the latter often are not available or at the time out of stock.
And if you want, you can order through them, and will likely acquire it for you as quickly as Amazon or Banner Books.
As we know, book and music stores in general have taken a major hit over the past 15 years, and to have any quality stand-alone book store still in existence is remarkable: I think it's really all about people who prefer to hold hard copy in their hands than a Kindle, laptop or smart phone. That we can load up several copies of bibles and reference materials on those phones says it all.
That aside, however, for anyone who wants to get a well-bound Christian bible and biblical/theological literature that's quite authentic to the Lord, set aside some time and browse for things here?
Might be worth it. read more
