I had a great one-hour deep tissue massage with Kira. She recommended some daily exercises to try for 30 days afterward. Her English is basic, but Google Translate conversation mode worked well. Kira is very kind and has a warm, nurturing personality that makes you feel relaxed right away. A friend recommended her and shared her contact, so I booked an appointment. She only takes appointments, no walk-ins. She helped me with the booking, payment was easy, and she sent my approval code with directions. The space was clean and comfortable. Her gentle touch was very relaxing. The session left me feeling much better. It helped me a lot with stress during my divorce. I'm already planning to go back. I recommend her if you want a good, professional massage. read more

I was told to visit Better Bodies and request either Candace or Kim. I was told Candace was no longer accepting new clients but Kim was. I was told by the receptionist that she would have to take a message and have Kim call me because scheduling is done between the client and stylist. I left my information and was excited to hear back.Late Tuesday afternoon and still no contact. At this point I was getting worried that by the time I was called there would be nothing available for Saturday. Spoke to Joyce and if there was a stylist who could call me within 24 hrs? She said she could have Renee give me call back shortly and she was new but very good. At this point my desperation got the better of me. Renee called within the hour as promised. She was very sweet and said she didn't have anything open Saturday (figures) but I could come in anytime this week and bring my crazy child. I was hesitant but I said if that was the only choice I could bring his tablet and hope for the best. I saw Renee the following business day (Wednesday). Walked in with my hair styled in soft finger waves so she could see how I normally wear it. My hair was really long and I was proud of this fact because I had spent years growing it out and shelled out $100 with my old stylist in Dallas just to ensure that it stayed this way. I had already told Renee by phone that I wanted my hair to remain quite long and needed a trim. In person I explained again. I said my hair was mostly one length with one or two long layers that were long as well. I didn't want short layers because it would change the way my hair waves when I use a wand. When turned in the chair I told her that overall I wanted the exact same cut and style but just a few inches (max) trimmed off to keep it healthy. She asked if I wanted a v shape. I assumed she was talking about the shape my hair would make when all was swept back and said "yes". To me, v shape is when your hair starts out a little shorter at the shoulders and tapers down into a v that meets at the middle of your back. This cut makes long hair look extra long when swept forward. Renee started and I noticed my layers were cut differently which made me nervous. Usually my stylists in Dallas would take the layer all around my head, lift it high in the air and trim but she used a method where she held it out to the side and cut at a slant. She asked if ok to razor my hair and I was again stressed because my hair is very wavy and I've studied the best cuts and styles for curly and wavy hair. It is in print and online as a fact that extensive razoring causes wavy hair and curly hair to become extra frizzy which is why hand cuts and long even layers are recommended. I mentioned this but she said she heard the opposite and it would soften the contrast between my layers and length. I said to go ahead but to minimize it if she can and to stick with the lowest part of my hair. I asked if she needed to know where my hair parts because I do have the front slightly angled but she said no. I've never had someone not ask where my hair parts or ask what I want In the front. She cut and dried my hair and said she couldn't do waves because she forgot her wand but has a curling iron. I thought she was going to wave my hair with it somehow but she ended up curling the ends of my hair. Let me just say that I never curl or wave the last 2 inches of my ends. My hair was straight-ish with these tight curls at the bottom. I looked like a ten year old. The front of my hair was frizzy and neglected and she kept sweeping all of my hair back which is not at all how I wear it. I was so embarrassed when I walked out into the lobby to pay. They swiped my card then I asked where was the tip line? They said they have to out in a tip before they swipe so they could reverse the transaction or I could stop by with cash if I wanted to which is a hassle. I just said I would try to bring it in but I hate not being able to tip. Went home and washed and restyled my hair and immediately noticed my hair was different. She gave me a totally different style. My hair was still long in the back but she had razored short layers that went longer from back to front. It looked like a grown out bob. Was a cute hair style but I didn't want CUTE. I wanted my hair to look long and goddess like the way it was before. We text back and forth and I sent pictures for comparison and she understood . She said she could fix it the next day and I agreed but looking at my hair some of those layers were so short. I worried that my hair would just get shorter if I had it fixed right now. I told her I would wait 4 months then see if I can slowly get it fixed. This is the problem. It's going to take a very long time to grow my hair out to nearly one length and reverse the style without compromising more of the length. Did I mention it took me two years to get it right? It's going to take another year before my hair is fixed if I'm lucky. read more

Jerrilyn gives an awesome massage! Well priced! She's very professional and clean. Very relaxing with good energy.

My husband bought me a Mother's Day package and I could never get a "spa day" scheduled because different people do the different services and they could never coordinate it, even if I called a month in advance. How can you sell a spa package and not deliver a spa package?? I don't have time to piece meal the spa. Very disappointed. I guess we just gifted this place our money. read more

My wife bought me a message gift certificate for my birthday and so I redeemed it about a month or so ago. It was a fantastic and relaxing experience from the front desk staff, the decor and my message therapist. If you are in need of a deep tissue message, this is the place to go in town. read more

Ray is a genius and also wonderful to be around! I barely have to brush my hair after washing and it looks amazing! He listened to what I needed & created it perfectly. Thank you, Ray!!! read more

Haven't even been to this place yet but customer service is already horrible. I've been trying to get an appointment with them for a facial for almost a month now. I don't know if the lady at reception is retarded or something but she kept on canceling my appointment because she keeps on "messing up" and "putting me on the wrong girl". Today, an hour before my appointment, I got a call from her saying I either have to schedule a petite facial and reschedule my European facial due to time constraints. I was hoping I could relax today and strategically placed this appointment on the day I got a leave from work but Better Bodies messed it up. I'll bring my business somewhere else that actually tries to provide good customer service. read more

This is a WAXING review. Called yesterday for a Brazilian waxing, and was able to get in this morning! This was my first time at this Spa. My Esthetician's name was Tanya! She was fantastic! So sweet, very professional and made great conversation! Which I personally love cause it makes you feel more comfortable and keeps you distracted. I have been getting waxed for 5 years and this was my first time being waxed with her sugar/water/lemon mix. I loved it. A natural tool and it removed the hair perfectly. Was soft on my skin, and her timing was great. Great work in a reasonable amount of time. She was late but I appreciated her apology and her explanation. She has a 7 month old and I comepletely understood cause I have a 9 month old. I'm a patient person so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I also asked last minute for armpit waxing too and she accommodated me! Overall, very great experience. Definitely will be a regular with Tanya! read more
