It also helps that one of my friends, who happens to be a physical therapist, also referred me to this clinic. He shared great things about this place, so the bar was already set high. My therapist Dorian was engaging, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to assigning practical, doable and strength-building workouts each week, he explains why they're important and how they fall under the program. I thought I knew how to work out, as I've been lifting for almost a decade now, and it was all undone after just a few short but impactful months with Dorian. I quickly learned I had to relearn most of what I knew, and I appreciated it. Before I wrap up this review, I do want to highlight the office manager, Marisa, who was such a delight at every interaction. She made scheduling a breeze and was always so awesome to deal with. I always walked away with a smile after interacting with Marisa, who genuinely knows how to put patients at ease. Note: Unfortunately, Prehab Physical Therapy was out of network with my medical insurance. However, Marisa provided a superbill after each visit, which made insurance claim submissions easy! I am walking away with a stronger appreciation of form in my workouts and a new profound respect for stretching. If you're looking for a knowledgeable therapist and a modern clinic, check out Prehab Physical Therapy.

I've seen many physical therapists since my surgery and other sports injuries, and I love the interface they have for at home PT. But most importantly she gave me the tools, techniques and mindset I needed to help myself. This meant I could take what I learned in PT each week and then apply it at home so that I could eventually get back to the gym. Peter was also excellent as my trainer, keeping my form tight and clearly explaining the exercises so I was working the target muscle. On top of this the rest of the team was a total delight. The vibe everyone brings is equal parts friendly and professional all the way to the front desk. That's all to say I always felt I was in good hands and helped me even when I was feeling hopeless that I could ever progress. Bravo Orthosport. They have never once answered the phone…read more I called three times and left 2 voicemails to reschedule my appointment. After receiving no response, I went to the office in person to handle it. The front desk worker was genuinely one of the rudest and most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. They cancelled my appointment without notifying me or calling me back to confirm the change, which is basic communication and standard practice at any other office I have dealt with. When I asked why no one had answered my calls or returned my voicemail, the worker was extremely dismissive and took absolutely no accountability. She had an incredibly condescending attitude throughout the entire interaction and came across as though she had no interest in hearing what I was saying because she was so convinced that she was right. There was a clear sense of ego in the way she spoke to me, rather than any willingness to simply listen and resolve the issue. I even asked her directly, "So are you going to call me back next time?" Her response was, "We can try." Given that I had already called three times and left a voicemail, I found that response incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. She was rude from the beginning, spoke to me as though I was incapable of understanding what I was saying, and repeatedly refused to actually listen to me. I specifically went in to reschedule the appointment I had scheduled for later that day, but she kept insisting that I tell her which appointment I had already attended that morning, despite me repeatedly explaining what I was there for. What should have been a simple administrative request turned into an unnecessarily frustrating interaction because she would not listen, acknowledge what I was saying, or take any responsibility for the lack of communication. Completely unacceptable from any office serving patients.
