I have been coming here for over a decade and I am probably healthier than I have been in the last 40 years thanks to a doctors who cares about the whole person and a medical group that doesn't give up on their patient. If I had had the privilege of knowing this group of medical professionals years ago, I wouldn't spend so long, not working and living on disability, so that people understand being on disability is not a privilege and it sucks so when you find someone who can help you get back to being a normal person it really means the world. Thank you Dr. Schock thank you Dr. Harris.

He retired last year and I went somewhere else for a few appointments and I wasn't listened to at all and lots of changes were being made and the focus was not on my mental health during my appointments. I called KOA to see if I could see new psychiatrist. I got in fairly quickly and again, I am listened to and being dealt with as a person, with the focus on my mental health. It is such a relief to know that I have someone I trust. I have looked in to some of their group therapy offers from the therapists, but so far they haven't worked with my college and work schedule. Hopefully some day they will because they sound helpful.

She takes her time during our appointments, not rushing me through, and I leave feeling heard and validated after our visits. I love that convenient virtual and in-person options at her beautiful office are available. I've visited a few providers before finding Dr. Ami and she is a great fit for me, and one I hope to work with for a long time! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ami and her practice, At Peace Integrative Mental Health Clinic.
