When we dropped him off he was second guessing and was pretty miserable for the first 3 month being so far from home. He started making friends within 3 months with kids that enjoyed the same interest he had. He LOVED this school and it was the best years of his life. He loved the college, his friends and professors so much that he planned on moving back to Kentucky Murray area one day. He met the love of his life here also and planned on getting married and living in Murray. Sadly he passed away at age 27 and never got the chance to fulfill that dream. If you're considering this school, I give it a BIG YES!!!!!!!

My son was taking part in a 3v3 soccer tournament put on by Austin Peay's girls' soccer team, as a fundraiser. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I found. I was really impressed by the campus...I thought it was beautiful. It looked like a great-sized school, as well. I'd love to have an opportunity to attend a baseball game there...the stadium looked fantastic. Leaving there, I felt like this was a campus we should have our son look into, research and maybe visit in a few years when he is choosing a college. The "cover of this book" made me want to look further!

This seriously hurts undergrad GPAs and puts students at a huge disadvantage when they are put up against state schooled counterparts in the marketplace. Harsh grading doesn't make better academics or higher reputation.

The students here love to preach about God but when the time actually comes to do good, they look away at every turn. Everyone here is fake and, if you aren't like everybody else, you will feel INCREDIBLY isolated. In fact, it's almost scary how cult-like it tends to be here; so, if you think you're not unique and have no defining qualities, then Union is perfect for you.
