Built in the Modernist International style, the main church is a bit of a concrete box from the outside, but the interior is decorated with dark stone and ceramic mosaics, and has some interesting grey and silver modern stained glass in a huge single wall-like window, along with more conventionally coloured glass in three round windows above the gallery. The lobby has an excellent presentation about the history of the church and the area, all flattened by Allied bombing in 1943.
The church's most notable feature is its 67m open concrete filagree bell tower, which houses three bells. On Sundays these ring out across the Tiergarten.
