My son has made more progress in the past month while seeing Beth than the last year and a half worth of therapies elsewhere.

Laurie is by far the most knowledgeable therapist we've worked with. She's consistently engaging, intuitive, and truly understands how to connect with our daughter. Each session is purposeful and productive, and Laurie always seems to know exactly what to focus on next to support meaningful progress. What we especially appreciate is how Laurie involves us as parents--coaching us, answering our questions, and giving us practical tools to use at home. The difference her guidance has made, both in our daughter's development and our confidence as parents, is incredible. We couldn't recommend Laurie more highly.

There are so many reasons why we are so grateful to be working with McRory. It is a wonderful…read morecompany filled with wonderful staff. It all begins with Dana and Sadaf at the front desk. Although both of their positions tend to be more administrative in nature, they genuinely and whole-heartedly enjoy connecting with and greeting every child who walks through the door with such grace and compassion. They know every name of every child and every sibling! They make every child feel seen and heard the second they walk in the door. Nothing warms a mom's heart more than to see other people care for your kids with the same love and compassion that you yourself do. They are amazing! Two of my three children have received services from McRory. Dana at the front desk jokes we live here! Hey, there's no better second home in my opinion! My son, Peyton, received OT from Zoe for a year. Zoe is nothing short of superior! And my youngest, Lily, has been receiving OT from Zoe since she was two (she's now four.) Zoe is amazing. She pays such attention to detail and cares deeply about my children's progress, growth, and overall emotional well being. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job and we deeply and whole-heartedly appreciate her. We love Zoe! Lily also sees Maddy for speech. WE LOVE MADDY! She brings such warmth, fun, knowledge and attentiveness to every session single session we spend with her. She makes each session fun and fresh and finds creative ways to push my daughter's speech progress along without Lily constantly feeling put on the spot to perform. She is always challenging Lily, but does so in the most nurturing and supportive ways possible. Her preparation is second to none. Every session has a game plan and she's constantly pushing Lily's language forward but she's so skilled in doing so in the most organic and natural of ways. The PT department is amazing as well! We've seen Amanda for years, who simply is the best of the best. We truly consider her a friend who cares about our family outside the constraints of her workplace. Since Amanda is no longer in clinic, we've had the privilege of recently working with Rosa and Megan! When specialists and staff who genuinely care are helping to shape the overall well being and life trajectory of your children, you can't help but feel anything short of gratitude. McRory is a loving, supportive, amazing safe space for my kids, and I couldn't appreciate them and the incredible work they do anymore. Thank you McRory! WE LOVE YOU!

Her level of skill and expertise is outstanding, and she has an intuitive ability to know exactly how to connect with each child and bring out the best in them. Beyond her talent, Naomi is unbelievably warm, friendly, and encouraging. She brings boundless energy and joy to her work--we call her the "Speech Therapy Miss Rachel." My husband said that he has never met anyone more enthusiastic about their job, and that enthusiasm is contagious. We adore her, trust her, and it's immediately clear how deeply she cares. Naomi consistently goes above and beyond. She even took the time to send me worksheets for my daughter who is NOT her client, simply because she wanted to help. That level of generosity, dedication, and heart is rare. We feel incredibly lucky to have worked with her and recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a truly outstanding speech therapist.

We looked for a Licensed Speech Therapist that would not only work with higher level speech therapy needs but also with simplistic ones as well, somewhere where you could feel the sense of care in there practice (like family) from someone who truly connected and embraced kindness and a feeling of empowering children with disabilities. From the first look at Sharons Web page and yelp i knew she was someone different and that there was meaning with a life dedicated to her practice. I thought if someone like this exist she must have a great staff. Through out the time we began January 2020 Till January 2021 our 5 now 6 year old son made extraordinary progress. Our son is not the easiest to get to focus. Sharons staff had no problem with using unique assignments, hands on activities and techniques to bring attention to focus to be able to adapt and make progress with all his challenges with I would not hesitate to meet or talk with Sharon She is a Shining Light in a Field where Knowledgable and Empowered Speech Therapist are far and few in between. After his first stroke, he was completely NPO with a PEG tube, and nearly every speech therapist believed there was little hope for progress due to his severe conditions. Finding Natalie felt like a miracle. Through her patience, expertise, and compassion, she helped him achieve what once seemed impossible: having his PEG tube removed and safely enjoying food again. Seeing him regain that independence was extraordinary, and Natalie was central to that progress. When he later suffered a second stroke and needed another PEG tube, Natalie never wavered. Her steady encouragement and dedication have brought our family comfort once again through this challenging journey. Natalie is gifted in her work, wonderfully kind, and genuinely caring. She treats my father with dignity and respect, and her impact has been profound. I wholeheartedly recommend Vital Speech & Swallow to anyone needing speech or swallowing therapy. We are forever grateful for Natalie!

My 3year old daughter recently graduated from speech therapy here after attending 1 hour weekly for…read more10months. I picked a time and later wanted to change it but couldn't so pick wisely. We had the same therapist the entire time- Valerie and she is great! They use toys like cutting vegetables, fisher price farm and house, etc to get your little one to talk and pick up common words. (I recommend keeping the kids out of the toy closet!) My daughter progressed slowly over time and now says 2-3 word sentences when she was just saying maybe 10 words total when we started. She has not caught up completely as we started after she was 2 years old and about 1 year behind in her speech. I initially noticed she was not progressing and mentioned it to my pediatrician who just recommended that we continue monitoring her at 18 months. Sure enough by the 2 year mark she had not progressed much since she was 1 year old. She was evaluated by the regional center and her speech was at the 14month mark as I thought! Mamas listen to your gut and come see Valerie to help your child develop their speech. Thanks Valerie, we appreciate you! Now the part I didn't like- the parking! Like most businesses on Ventura, the parking is terrible! They have 3 tandem spots and some visitor parking for the whole building. Try to park behind your therapist if you can! One time I parked behind a Tesla and in the middle of our session, I had to leave with my daughter and move the car. Another time I was about to pull out and the Tesla driver came and pulled out in front of me! Rude! Minus 1 star for this. Other times there were no spots and I had to make a U turn to park at the meters on Ventura. They also have a tiny waiting room so don't come too early to your sessions. Their bathrooms are for the building and located outside.
