My boyfriend's, mother lives in Chesapeake and we live on the opposite ends of town so... C.C location was perfectly located in the middle. C.C is non-denominational but still has traditional values. I would describe the church as casual and friendly. Services are held @ 9 and 11am on Sundays. I actually attended last Sunday and found that the message really hit close to home. Pastor Larry is an amazing speaker who truly wants God's word to be shared. Weekly Prayer meeting and Bible study offered. Monthly potlucks add to the fellowship. They are an older congregation, so while there is a children's nursery area and children's church if you want it, there are not a lot of large kid events other than VBS. However, the families in this church are like extended family/grandparents to our kids and it's nice having mentors like that in your life. Highly recommend visiting this church to hear the sermons :-)
