This is absolutely not acceptable. The workers are using the tombstone as a table. And management says they can't do anything. Not ok.

I went to visit my family and was horrified to see workers hanging out in the afternoon leaning on tombstones, standing on graves and keeping their bags on top of tombstones. Trash strewn around. The photos speak for themselves. What is wrong with these people? We went to the office and they told us they were aware and there was nothing they could do. Seriously? How about firing these low lives, hiring competent and compassionate people and perhaps train them on cemetery etiquette?

It's an old cemetery and pretty dense in space..

I had lost both of my parents within 7.5 months of each other and they had plots in this cemetery. I had a great experience during both of these sad occasions . They were very clear with instructions and what they needed for the burial as I was coming out of state and had to make all arrangements via phone. Jeff from the office was great as he double checked that all the information is correct and that I have all the documents needed- so no glitches. He people at the office were super efficient - no waiting time and the staff was professional all around. Since I was out of town- did. It know where to turn for monuments - they have Sprung monuments right across the street - great service, but overpriced perhaps because of convenience. Did some research and found David Stone Decor, a monument business in Brooklyn- great selection , wonderful service and great prices . Not cheap, but much less than many others without compromising quality and service. Did not get the monument yet- so will review them later- it takes about 3-4 months with foundation work to actually complete the process. Hope this info helps others as I certainly was at loss when I started the process being out of state .

How the family plots along Elmont Road are maintained. Build a proper fence barrier against street garbage like other cemeteries or clean!

Park Funeral's hair and make up team are amazing! Grandma looked beautiful and at peace. Park Funeral Parlor's pricing was the best by thousands of dollars. Some funeral places quoted us at 30-50% more money for the same exact amenities, viewing, casket, cards, limousines, etc. I learned that Park is a family owned business that goes back four generations. They are not corporate and this is why they were so flexible. This family is truly empathetic and blessed our family with their care and services for our Grandma.

The estimate was clear and understandable on one sheet of paper. No gimmicks. Went to 2 other funeral homes with pages and pages of prices and they ended up being thousands of dollars more for the same services. My dad died on a Sunday and even though we didn't get to prepay, they picked up the phone at 6am and started making all the arrangements for picking my dad up from the hospital. It was such a relief. We didn't have to do anything. By noon the same day, the website was up with my dad's information. Everything worked out so smoothly. They didn't try to take advantage of an emotional situation. The staff was amazing. My dad's body at the viewing was beautifully done. They made an emotional situation very stress free and pleasant. Thank you Park Funeral Chapel.

Laid to rest was an acquaintances father, sturdy and gentlemanly the kind soul that he was, he left his earthly body at the celebratory age of ninty four. Something about Star Wars, father and son, God the father and Jesus - I'm beginning to think that my desire to listen in most situations is rapidly eroding, even with men of the cloth. I'll need to address this sooner than later. Easy to locate off the Cross Island Pkwy upon exit as, as my buddies 2016 Mercedes-Benz S550 navigational system took us on a local, displeasing scenic route on our way to the wake. Our funeral director, Joseph Camolli, was beyond helpful and professional; his attention to the details of an otherwise overwhelming process made for a truly memorable tribute. We are thankful to him, James and other staff members for their attentiveness and services including a thoughtfully selected addition to the casket. The facility was clean with a convenient, ample parking lot; easy accessible throughout for physically-challenged attendees. One suggestion would be an upgraded / stronger wifi/router signal as in these times streaming services will become the 'new-norm'. We would like to commend them for a job well done, from our first appointment to the burial. Rhona Mason-Fogah

Then in 2019 when my uncle passed we went back thinking we'd get the same quality service we received before, boy was I wrong. The moment we walked in we were met by pure ratchetness. Dudes that looked like they belong elsewhere eating wings and a so called funeral director (not the same one I dealt with in 2013) just as ghetto. No tact no empathy. I requested a change of casket since the one my cousin chose wasn't up to par and I was told it couldn't be done bc allegedly the body was already in the casket which I suspect wasn't true. Finally the morning of the burial they were over an hour late to pick him up and go to the cemetery. No reason given just kept telling us they were on the way. Unless this place has changed management and staff in the last 7yrs I would not use this place. I'd rate them no stars but that's not possible.

From the start they were compassionate, gentle and kind. There was no attempt made to upsell their services. They quickly took possession of my brother before I arrived in New York and it was a comfort to my family that he was no longer in the city morgue while I flew out to NY. They made the entire process of his wake and cremation as simple and gentle as possible. Mr. Lee was the one who prepared my brother for viewing. Mr. Lee is an artistic genius, due to throat cancer my brother did not look as he once did but Mr. Lee worked a miracle and despite the circumstances of his death my brother looked as if he had just settled down for a nap on my sofa. I half expected his ankles to be crossed as was his habit in life. While searching for a funeral home I found out that the one my family traditionally used was having legal issues over quality and was forced to look elsewhere to arrange funeral services. I'd contacted several funeral homes before deciding to go with FAS due to their location and was surprised to find that they were the least expensive out of all the funeral homes I'd contacted. They were budget friendly without being skimpy. Located in an area with several funeral homes, they are small, not so flashy and easily overlooked but they provide wonderful service and are kind and compassionate. I highly recommend them and will use them again should the need arise.
