They have clean toilets and are family friendly. Their is a little cafe there that sells lovely food. Be aware that breakfast is served till 1130am but food is not cooked again till midday. Our orders were all correct (which I feel shouldn't be a value add, but increasingly is) It was the first decent breakfast I've had out in months - everything was hot and fresh, and cooked as expected. Drinks took a little longer to arrive than expected and only showed up half way through the meal, but they were tasty, hot and the perfect antidote to the rain outside. The do go a bit nuts with the toast, giving 2 large slices on a breakfast. But it was good bread and went perfectly with the eggs and beans. The sausage was quality - good flavour and properly cooked through without being burned. I definitely recommend this if you find yourself wanting a good cafe breakfast or afternoon tea and you're in the area!

My friend and I sat outside with ice cold drinks and I enjoyed a vegan chocolate and banana loaf which wasn't extraordinary but worth noting because it's a fairly unusual treat. In summer you will find it hard to find a seat but with the beach so close its great to grab a cone a walk the front. This place never turns away an animal and so they have many birds, dogs, pigs, alpacas, ponies, etc. The volunteers take good care of the animals and they need your support. People actually drop off boxes of animals during the night here. Bring your children and let them feed the animals right out of their hands. It's a real delight. On a macabre note, directly attached to this farm is a pond where the Witchmaster General drowned hundreds of young women he accused of witchcraft in the 1600s. Now it's a home to beautiful swans, geese, moorhens and other waterfowl. Across the street is a beautiful old church that's open all day long for visitors. Inside the church you can purchase homemade jams, marmalade and jelly for a pound or two. It's beautiful inside and out.
