As a volunteer last year, I got to see first hand all of the good that they are doing as well as spending a day to assist in their efforts: sorting food and creating meal packs for school age children (My plan is to help out in 2017 too!). The most impressive thing is that the Food Bank of South Jersey will provide 2 weeks supply of food to anyone in need who comes to their facility, no questions asked. I hope they continue to get all of the support that they need, through volunteers like myself, donations and grocery stores contributing food!

While I do have some concerns about the leadership of the group, the every day workers are great and they do good things like their annual turkey drop off at the Pennsauken location. If everyone would be willing to contribute just a little, the world would be such a better place.

Bridge games are held every day of the week and most evenings. The directors who run the games are…read moreincredibly good at finding a partner for singletons, even at the last minute. The club has a friendly atmosphere and competitive play, also there are lessons available for both those who are just learning and those who want to improve their game; what more could a person ask for in a bridge club? (Well, except, maybe a wet bar and when you find a bridge club that has one of those, please do let me know.)
