We take him there at least once a day so he can run free without a leash. When we arrived there was only one car (VW JETTA WHITE) in the parking lot. There is a large dog park area there and a small dog park area. There were two Boxers approx 60 lbs each who were in the SMALL dog park. We took our Pug over to the fence and politely asked the young lady who had the boxers to move to the large dog park which was only 20 yards away in a separate fenced off area. She responded with "You bring your dog into this park (small dog area) and let's see how quickly he will become dead" 1EA3120 is her license plate. I had to keep my wife from her instinct to give her "what's for" which would have been a beat-down. Instead, we cooled our jets and left the park. Went to a different park down the road and called the AACO police they sent an officer to speak to us. We did not press charges per her threat to kill our puppy with her big dogs. So, the "Karenicity" in this person was running high. Entitled a-hole Karen is lucky we didn't press charges and she didn't catch the wrath of my wife. We are too old for this. She threatened to actually have our dog killed simply because she was feeling entitled and too lazy to move her big dogs to the large dog park.

Bottom Line: A very quiet, seemingly underutilized park with a playground and fields…read more I am thankful for the green space that is known as Arnold Park but after living near this park for over nine years it is still a bit of a mystery to me. Over the years I have visited this park on many occasions and I am almost always the only one there. Even on weekends when I think the fields would be in use I seem to be the only one there. When does this park get used? There are several fields/baseball diamonds and as far as I can tell, one of them is even lit. There is also a playground which was just replaced in late 2023. I wish the park had a paved path that looped around the whole park but unfortunately it doesn't.

General Highway Corridor Park has several recreational areas for baseball, football, soccer, and…read morevolley ball. There is a playground area for the children, shelter/picnic/barbeque area, and tables. At the rear of the second parking lot is a fenced area that I saw residents playing with their dogs. A hard top surface runs around the perimeter of the recreational fields. Off the hard top trail runs various dirt trails, some alongside a stream. Various birds were abundant. Some of the netting on sporting equipment could use repair or replacement. There were dogs off leash running freely on the trails which could scare some visitors or be a deterrent to people who fear dogs. Near the playground and picnic areas is a small cemetery that has no name or identifying information and in need of repair.
