We have stayed here three times, and actually plan our multi-day trip to make this a stop. The staff is kind and helpful. There is a nice fridge and microwave in the room, plenty of outlets, and a good shower. In addition to the standard desk available in most hotels, these rooms are extra large and there is a medium sized dining table and chairs in the room. Coffee and hot water are available 24/7. The hotel is pet friendly, and the owners have a cat who will welcome you. We've paid a lot more for a places not nearly as nice. Don't let the exterior (plain) or the 1* rating turn you away from from this hidden gem for an overnight stay.

Once we checked in, the bed was checked for bed bugs, none were found. But very soon the quality of this stay changed, black mold was found in the bathroom and it wasn't the biggest issue but once we started coughing and decided to check the air conditioner and to our surprise there was black mold in there too. We packed up our stuff and on our way down to the front desk we checked the second and bottom floor a/c - to where there was also black mold. Once we asked about a refund we were told to go through the booking site and the employee didn't seem to fazed about the quality of the room. This hotel needs a health inspection!

My dad went in and the guy gave him a good deal to pop our tents in the lawn by the swimming pool. He let the pool lights on for us to see what we were doing while setting up. There was nothing charming about our spot nor the grounds. It was right along the two-lane highway, and our location was purely functional. However, it was clear they took a great deal of pride in their facilities and put a lot of thought into what they could offer. The bathroom was private, clean, and spacious. Good water pressure and temperature regulation. The pool looked very nice, though I can't speak to its cleanliness or temperature. There were coffee and muffins in the lobby and an attached diner where my dad grabbed eggs and toast. He said it was very inexpensive and the service was friendly. I'm giving this five stars because, for the price, the location was just what we needed, the facilities were well-equipped and clean, and everyone working here was thoughtful and generous. I wouldn't bring a date here or stay for vacation, but the place lives up to its promise as a quick stop along the way.

The rooms are fairly big and include modern furniture and HD widescreen TVs. Everything was very clean in the room and it didn't feel like a budget stay at all. The staff was helpful and very courteous. Staying here is a great value for what you pay and the location is literally right off of the main road. There was virtually no noise and that was very pleasant for a Friday night. There is a fairly large foyer and apparently there are meeting rooms/areas too. I wonder what this place was before, but all I can say is that Motel 6 really impressed me with this one. Highly recommended!

Easter Sunday, I noticed a homeless man walking in town. I got him a bite to eat and he said he…read morewas $10.00 short on renting a room from this Super 8. The weather turned really cold of 35 degrees and the wind was about 40 mph sustained. I told the homeless man I would get him a room. No one should be out in this weather. I walked and and the man at the front desk seemed excited to see a customer since the whole motel appeared to have any customers. The man at front desk demeanor immediately changed when requested a room for the homeless man. The motel owner the motel had no rooms available even though the whole place appeared empty like in the photo. The Super 8 across the street also did this to a homeless man. Social profiling! I went to the Holiday Inn down the street and they were glad to take my money and allow the homeless man a room out of the weather. This place looked awful anyway so glad the owner turned us away.
