I was able to set up appointments easily and their package prices are great. I have seen a lot of improvement so far, more than expected after just two months. I'm allowed to be in the room and watch his movements. He's a very shy pup so I think it helps to have me in there as well - probably feels less like punishment The staff are wonderful and so encouraging. Our silver lab puppy attended the 2 week Board & Train at about 5 months and then again at 1 year. We were given all the tools ( leash, E-collar, cot etc. ) as well as a training session for us . We learned how to follow up and consistently apply the training strategies that they had worked so hard to instill in our pup. Our sweet girl is coming along beautifully with such commands as heel,, sit/down, stay, here, and staying on place. "On place" is awesome! When put on place, our dog will remain comfortably on her cot and will not leave it until we give her the prompt. Great for when guests come to the door, when we are eating, when I need to get some cleaning done. Every member of the staff is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and very very devoted to the health and well being of all the dogs. They are there for you when questions or concerns arise and dedicated to helping your dog be a well mannered, well trained member of the family.

I live in Cudahy and they came to pick my dog in the mornings and dropped him in the afternoons. They've taken my dog to dog parks, various trails, beaches, state parks, and they send pictures and videos to let you know your fluffy friend is happy. They care about where they take your dog too, so if it's super hot out they find a place to cool off for the day while still exercising your doggo. If it rained out, they check the pH levels of the beach to make sure it's safe and will avoid if it's not. They're timely with pick ups and drop offs too, and their super trust worthy; in fact I gave them the key to my house and they were nice enough to feed/water my pup and gave him a treat before they left. To cap things off they're some of the kindest people I've ever met. If you need someone to watch your little tail wagging friend, call these gals. The price is fair, the service is awesome, and I would recommend them to everyone. No regrets.

I called and left two messages (which is the ONLY way you can schedule appointments or get much information other than walking in) and neither call was returned. Stuff happens, messages get lost, so I decided to walk in and did not get a warm reception at all. I'm assuming it was the owner in the middle of grooming and she asked what she could do for me in what seems to be a clearly irritated tone. I explained I had left two messages and hadn't heard back (to which you would think you might get an apology or explanation but got nothing except a further irritated expression.). I asked pricing, availability and how best to schedule appointments. She answered $75, which is around double nearly anyone else I've ever talked to or gone to. I asked if she does much grooming on many doodles (as I have had several groomers 'poodle' my doodle, which is why I am so particular about groomers and will pay more for one who knows the true 'doodle' cut .) I think she actually rolled her eyes and said yes, she has been doing lots of mixed breeds for years. The demeanor, way she answered and less than warm first impression turned me off very much. We are new to town and have owned small businesses in small towns and word of mouth can be your best friend or your worst enemy, and while we all have off days I was less than impressed from this interaction...especially compared to all the other local businesses we have been fortunate enough to interact with who are warm, friendly and eager to help. Also, we choose to give our business to companies who adapt to changing times and busy lives. I go to a groomer because I am too busy to groom my own dogs, work full time and can not call during business hours during the work week to schedule appointments. We look for businesses that have scheduling online or even via email or Facebook. This business does not nor did they return a call from my two phone calls and messages I left. Needless to say, we will NOT be bringing our dogs there nor recommending this business based on this.

The owner is an award winning…read moregroomer that has pretty much groomed every dog breed or mixed breed out there and has years and years of experience, unlike the pet food store groomers who dry the dog in a kennel with a blower rather than professionally on a table and maybe have been grooming dogs for a month. Care is taken to find out just what you are wanting done at drop off so there are no surprises. Dogs are happy and squeaky clean when you pick them up. And prices are low for grooming and nail trims compared to the big name stores. It is so nice to have the Silver Leash and worth the half hour drive for me to have my guys groomed so well. Plus there are fun dog treats and chewies and toys in the shop for a post grooming treat.
