We waited for 45 minutes and he was a no show. The second lesson he changed the time of our scheduled appointment after I texted him to confirm the time on the day of the appoinment. This happened again on my son's second behind the wheel lesson. He changed the time and then was 15 minutes late. He had another student in the car for my son's second lesson and my son's second lesson was driving this other student in the car from Huntersville to Mathews to the student's home. My son said he was not comfortable with the way Sammy spoke to him, more yelling not teaching. My son also informed me that Sammy would be on his phone and texting during lessons! I believe this because day of 3rd behind the wheel I was texting with Sammy and then called him and he answered while driving in the car with a student giving a lesson. I know because after speaking with me for a couple of minutes and me expressing that I was unhappy with his services he told me he was giving a lesson and had to "pay attention" to his student driver. I chose this school based on reviews and that they had a self-paced online teen course. I would highly reconsider using this school for the driver's ed teen education . They are unreliable and do not communicate well. Please take the time to read all reviews and do not make the same mistake I did. Sammy apologized for the way he spoke to me and explained he was having a bad day and has students all over Charlotte. If I am paying a premium of $428.00 I expect the owner to be professional and not make excuses for his disrespectful behavior nor his lack of being able to schedule appointments correctly. He does not respect other people's schedules or time nor does he model safe driving by texting and speaking on the phone during lessons. The lack of respect for my time, the lack of safety while driving and the way he spoke to me were only part of this very unpleasant experience.

The instructor did not instruct her on how to drive, he continually yelled at her when she did something wrong. He also had her drive him on all his errands. He had her drive him to a restaurant where he went inside and didn't return to the car for 18 minutes. He had her drive him to a nail salon to bring something to someone and didn't return to the car for 10 min. This was completely unacceptable. My other two children will NOT be attending this driving school.

Longer spiel: I originally had my son do driver's ed through the public school - he completed the classroom portion, but scheduling his driving portion was a NIGHTMARE (after 5 months of being unable to schedule him I contacted Your turn driving school). Your Turn Driving school went above and beyond to help me get his classroom certificate from the public school (public school tried to tell me they didn't have one..) AND they were able to get him scheduled to drive immediately. He completed his drives the following week after I signed him up. After the headache with the public schools I wish I would have just paid for him to do all the driver's ed here. It was worth EVERY penny & I like that it is one-on-one and so did my son (vs having to drive with other students in the car which seems like it could create distractions). They know what they're doing here, have been doing it a long time & I cannot recommend them enough!!
