I stayed here when I was a teenager and going through severe depression, and all she did was scream at us patients for trivial reasons, which only made my anxiety worse. I remember her venting and ranting about a loss she had in her family, and used that as an excuse to mistreat us patients, who also had our own problems to worry about. I've lost all my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and my mother yet Ariel still acted very condescending, acting as if nobody else had ever experienced the pain/loss she did; she just yelled at us all the time and was totally arrogant and rude. I left that place feeling even worse than I had entered because of her. If you're not prepared to help young, mentally ill patients just because YOUR mental illness is "soooo much worse" maybe don't work at a mental facility. Wish I could give zero stars, absolutely horrific experience.

He is warm, personable, and funny and clearly super bright not only with intelligence but with emotional intelligence --something you truly need in a Dr of his specialty but don't always find, ironically. Somehow in a short amount of time you feel that he actually had gotten to know you --he is like a detective of the mind. I love his office which is also a gallery for his wife's work and the work of others. It's lovely to be surrounded by beautiful art while in the rooms of the office. His receptionist/assustant:offce manager is also warm and welcoming and this matters a great deal. So glad I found this Dr.
