Great experience all the way around. Brittany and AJ helped me through the process of making a life long dream come true. Mark was my instructor through the Riders Course he walked me through everything I needed to know about riding. Very knowledgeable and patient. He coached me through mistakes I was making and showed me how to correct them. If you're looking to buy a motorcycle or learn to ride this is a great place to learn. Came Sunday to look at a bike, they were 6K away after looking at another dealer from another dealer they said they could match but not after a lot of back and forth. Same day of purchase check engine light comes on for engine knocking service says it's safe to drive not the case. I talked to Ramone from Austin's phone said he don't take threats all I said I want to resolve and unwind a catastrophic deal within an hours of signing they have not even been funded all that could be said was it was binding I've asked for them to look at the cameras on 9/20 you can see 3 of thier employees for about 20 min waving paper work on front of my face to sign. I should have walked out and not been disrespected like that now I've have been at the dealership for 3 days straight now I'm leaving this review. Feel free to call as I will be here using my PTO until this deal gets unwinded. They wouldn't let me ride the brand new bike which should have been a red flag to. Stay away and call I will give any details wanted before making a bad choice like I have. Behne16@yahoo.com send a email to cut down on spam calls. This place was awesome. Customer service was top notch - by far the best I've ever experienced at any Harley dealership. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and even offered us a free beer. I mean, what dealership does that? I had to get a tee shirt with their location and name on the back bc i wanted to just give them my money how nice they were. I wish it wasn't so far bc I would totally buy my next bike from there. Thank you guys! You're awesome!!! read more

New Tires for my 2008 Buell Ulysess in 2025 In March I got a Text from Motown Harley Davidson in Taylor MI. They offered $60.00 Rebate on two Dunlop Tires if I purchased Installation too. I am guessing that Rebate would come from Dunlop, thus who did the Installation should have been irrelevant. I wrote an e-mail to Motown with the tire size and model of Dunlop tires that I wanted. I never got a replay. After a month I called Motown. They put me on hold for a bit, then they told me that they don't work on Buell's. The other day I watched a Video from Bert's Barracuda; Meet Bert King From Texas | The Uncle Daddy Show Bert's Motor Company You Tube Channel. What I know about Bert's I know from the "Shade Tree Surgeon" youtube channel. Ralph/Uncle Daddy said to call Belt Buckle Betty if you need parts or service, if I can recall correctly. I chose to make an inquiry via their Web site about Tires for my Buell. I have plans to visit FL for the Forgotten Angles Camp Out. I just checked that is in October. Within 1/2 hour I had gotten three phone calls from Bert's. The Second call from a parts guy with the price for the tires plus Installation Labor, Shop Fee and Sales Tax. I had told the first gal who contacted me about Motown HD telling me that they don't work on Buell's. The third call was from John Dempsy. There was some confusion thinking that one of Bert's Locations had told me that they did not work on Buell's. That never happened, only the Dealer in Michigan told me that. Their Service Dept. did a fantastic job on my limited while I was vacationing in the area and had a battery issue. Josh got it in fast and I enjoyed the OCC grill next door and Paul Sr. showed up. Will be going to their Bike night Thursday while in town. I will bring My bike here for service again next year. Good job by good people. Thanks Rick Panama City Beach read more

I did the MSF riding class. Great experience and well worth it. Jim and Deb were great instructors and kept things moving smoothly.

To start this review off, I will mention we did purchase OUT OF STATE so this is strictly an out of state experience/review - with that being said, I truly do not recommend buying from here if you're NOT in Florida. If you're in town, I'm sure it would be a totally different experience but the way they handled our purchase/bike was absolutely insane.. My husband actually found out about this dealership through YouTube, which is why he wanted to purchase from here specifically. They had $1500 shipping costs PAID FOR and $2500 down payment for the bike paid for on Sept. 29th when my husband started his bike process to purchase but no one ever mentioned about getting pages notarized or having to do extra steps in order to purchase/get paperwork signed.. not only had to wait to receive the paperwork but that was about 2 days of my husband driving back and forth to find someone who would notarize the pages the way THEY needed them notarized which in the state of Nevada from my understanding is ILLEGAL for them to notarize pages the way they were wanting so we couldn't find someone to do it unless the pages had "cover pages," which made the notarizing process longer and more expensive, they said they would reimburse us for the fees... waiting on a check they sent to us with a UPS tracking that's unavailable in their system.. Once the papers were able to get sent out to hopefully get the bike actually on the transport trailer for shipment, they got hit with those horrible hurricanes which we absolutely understand is NOT their fault that's totally out of their control but the bike should have/could have been sent out sooner.. we just didn't know about getting the pages notarized and it being a whole process.. honestly my husband probably would NOT have purchased anything at all if he would have known about how long process REALLY was. But anyway, flash forward to yesterday 10/19/2024, we FINALLY get our new bike delivered wanting to ride it around... the battery is totally DEAD lol so now our new bike won't even start up for us to try and enjoy our first ride.. My husband reached out and tried to get something done to where we could maybe get a new battery from them somehow but they haven't reached back out or anything.. truthfully don't think we'll even hear back from anyone lol but I guess we'll have to wait and see (updating review on 10/24/2024 - we did in fact receive the check for the notary fees, greatly appreciated). Wish this could have been a totally different experience because I will say the bike is beautiful but this process and the way it was delivered just isn't something my husband wanted at all. Avoid purchasing out of state cause it truly was the biggest headache we've experienced in a while.. hopefully they can make out of state purchases better/easier in the future. read more

Great bike shop on the west coast of FL. Worth a stop even if you're not in the market for a new scoot. Staff is freie fly and they are always ready to make a deal work. Bike events here are great. And with the edition of the OCC restaurant/bar next door makes this a great riding destination. I haven't been through their service here so cannot comment on that. read more

Bert's Barracuda Harley-Davidson Dealership is located in the middle of nowhere, but is extremely popular and gives excellent service. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, like we were regulars and given excellent service by all we encountered. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean and well organized as well. They didn't have everything we were looking for, but we did find most of what we wanted so we were pretty satisfied. If you are in the area and need to swing by a Harley place, I definitely recommend Bert's as a place to not miss. read more

John was very helpful in getting repairs done. He was very understanding and easy to work with.

Recently took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider's course. I highly recommend for any experience level you may have, particularly a new rider. Builds your comfort and confidence quickly. The instructors Mark and Cooper were fantastic. They were both great teachers and very engaging. Helped a group of people with very nominal experience go from incredibly novice to street ready in 2 days. Very friendly staff. Very impressed by the instructors and the organization of the Basic Rider Course. read more

I can't say enough good things about this dealership! There's knowledgeable employees and a fantastic personable General Manager John that beats all. Our salesperson was Josie, and she was totally genuine and so helpful in every way. There's a huge covered event venue right next door, not to mention their beautiful showroom with both new and used bikes in every price range. There's also complimentary draft beer and popcorn, so welcoming! Broken ground already is an Orange County Biker restaurant and museum going up too. My husband started driving a motorcycle and had purchased a small one. He convinced me to go on a ride and what do you know? I fell in love with it, but was not comfortable on the current bike. Went into Bert's barracudas to buy parts to make the other motorcycle more comfortable and instead found out what I really wanted was a bigger bike - One that made me feel less like a backpack and more like my own rider if that can make sense ‍ Silk helped my husband and I narrow down on what we both wanted and turned it into a reality. We are the proud owners of a 2016 Harley Davidson Roadglide Ultra. Silk isn't just a salesman - hes a friend. Always puts a smile on our face when we walk in that door. This place is more than just a bike shop - safety course training - music - food - GREAT GENUINE PEOPLE and motorcycles of all kinds. If you need anything at all - ask for Silk! read more

Let me start with the riding course. The coaches here are AWESOME!!! I had a bad experience at another HD dealership and was a bit gun shy to take again but the approach was completely different. Even when you do something wrong they continue to encourage you and they had more faith in me than I did at times. In my course we had 8 students with 2 coaches. I liked having more than 1 coach to get feedback. They just opened the new showroom, it is really nice and they have tons of nice merchandise. Staff was friendly and eager to help. They are converting the old temp dealership into a bandstand thing and will have a restaurant out front. I cannot say enough good stuff about this place! read more

Took my dad there while he was visiting. He's a military veteran. He asked if they have a military discount and this lady behind the counter got a bit sassy saying how they donate thousands to the veterans all the time no they don't have a military discount. A "no sorry" would have been just fine the rest was just rude. You can donate thousands to whatever fund but there are thousands of vets not supported by your little fund groups you donate to that deserve a military discount. At the least your staff shouldn't be rude to someone asking. Sad such a cool place and he was so excited to go there as he collects many Harley things has worked for Harley delivering motorcycles and my grandfather also worked at the plant in Pennsylvania putting Harley's together. read more

Fraudulent charges! Steve in services will directly lie about emailing you invoices, he will lie and tell you the invoice reflects charges that they charge to your account...none of these things have to be true for him to fraudulently charge your account. The work is shoddy, the communication is shoddy, this is hands down the worst Harley dealership in the Bay Area. Go to Brandon or Tampa first. This place gaslights its clientele with an entertainment based marketing scheme that exudes fun all while price gouging for underwhelming-quality service. read more

I took the BRC with Mark and Jim here and it was absolutely PHENOMENAL. They're very thorough while being very succinct about every aspect of riding. They will explain the theory behind every action in every exercise, give great demonstrations, coach each of the 11 student riders on a personal level within the course to giver personalized tips and advice, are very encouraging and supportive, and between the two of them have decades of riding experience that you can trust. They will describe safe and unsafe actions or habits and what people do and why we should avoid the bad habits, all the repercussions, etc. They were approachable should we have any questions at any moment, are happy to repeat things for anyone, and gave even the weakest riders new confidence and skills to ride safely and intelligently. 10/10 course - I would highly recommend this to anyone over the more expensive MSF courses and will go back to Bert's Barracuda for any advanced courses or help I need for sure. The entire staff I dealt with inside and out were all friendly and welcoming! read more

THE GOOD: I really struggled with this review rating as I recently finished the introductory riding course. I rate the instructors a perfect 5/5 and it's an outstanding program. Even though I have 20 years of riding experience, I still enjoyed the class and instructors. Again, perfect 5 stars for the riding academy. THE BAD: EXTREME EXTREME EXTREME Sales pressure and HEAVY dealer markups on prices. My first red flag was no prices listed on bikes anywhere. The new 2024 Street Glides were $10,000 over MSRP on Harley's official website. My salesman started off nice, but he showed up DURING my riding class TWICE to ask about me purchasing a motorcycle. He was trying to push an appointment but I told him I wanted to finish the class and obtain my official endorsement so I can test ride a bike before I buy. After my class today, I had to lie and tell him I failed so I could actually browse some clothing and retail items without someone next to me the entire time. YOU CAN NOT WALK NEAR THE BIKES OR CLOTHING WITHOUT A SALESMAN RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. I wanted to buy a nice jacket and a few hats, but walked out of there because of the sales practices. Will be going to another dealer to purchase my bike. read more

I bought a bike from them in December 2022. It was a used Harley and it was $12,999 plus tax, tags and fees. I only put about 150 miles on it and then in March 2023 I decided I didn't want to ride anymore. Also when I bought it paid the dealer to get me and program a second fob for the alarm, I bought a new battery, and a new LED headlight. Now. In March when I went to bring it to them to see what they would give me for it the manager only offered me $4500. When I asked him why he said that's all the bike was worth. So I buy if from them for over $13,000 but 4 months later it's only worth $4,500? These guys are crooks. I even heard that from several of my Harley friends that this dealer in particular does that to customers. None of my friends wound up buying bikes from this dealership due to the fact that the are way overinflated and don't work with the customers in deals. Anyway. My wife and I did belong to the local HOG Chapter based out of this dealership but since they didn't want to give me or my wife a fair amount to buy it back and rip us off we no longer wish to be involved with anything this place is associated with. It's sad because we really liked the people in our chapter. So I've had over 50 motorcycles and when I find a good honest dealership I usually buy a lot of bikes from them over time but not this one. They won't be getting a penny from me at this point. I'm sure if I did sell it to them for the $4,500 they would have excuses that they can't sell it for much more than that and then I'm sure it would be back out on the floor for that $12,999. Please note that this is only my experience with them and can't speak for other customers besides what my friends told me about them. read more

Went to Harley Davidson on September 13 to buy 2 quarts of oil. The parts department desk was closed had to go to the service department desk. There were four people working one girl was eating pizza and ignored me.
