Definitely a good choice for if you are conducting business in the Wolfsburg/Gifhorn/Braunschweig…read morearea, as I was, but I would highly recommend having a car (they have plenty of free parking) if you want to be able to get out and explore the area, go to Volkswagen's Autostadt, etc., as the hotel itself is isolated and not very close to anything walkable. Closest DB train station is about a 30 minute walk away.
Reception is friendly and they seem to have moderately good English, impressive for a non-tourist area since my German is just good enough to start a conversation and not much else. Restaurant actually had some good choices, reasonable prices, and they have English-language menus as well. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Hotel has three floors and there is elevator access in both buildings. My room was clean, tidy, and not overly-spartan. I had a flat-screen TV, lots of closet space, and more than adequate room on the bathroom counter for toiletries et al. Lucky for me, I had a tub/shower combo as opposed to the often-tiny showers in this area of the world. Bed was super comfortable, lots of lighting and sunshine in the room, and although my room (and maybe the hotel) didn't have A/C, it was cooler here and I left my windows open all day and all night for a nice breeze; not too much traffic noise as this hotel is not in an urban area.
