As we planned our last minute trip to Argentina for New Years, we were so enthralled with…read moresightseeing and running around town that we didn't get our act together and make reservations for dinner. Fast forward to NYE at 9pm, we're walking around aimlessly trying to find restaurants that were a. open and b. accepting walk-ins. We stumbled across A Nos Amours and spoke to the french waiter who also appeared to be the owner to see if they had any spots for their Prix fix menu. He was apologetic and said he only had ingredients for a preplanned number of diners, but called a party that was late for their reservation. Long story short, we walked around the block and were waved down by him to take a seat. The wine list is largely (if not totally) sulphate free and their cheese preservative free as well. We enjoyed a relaxing 3 hour Argentinian/French style dinner and rang in the new year after a delicious meal. The coconut broth prawns and were memorable and the dessert had beautiful textures.
