Very, very poor customer service!!!!! I purchased a Whirlpool water softener online through the…read moreGaylord store. It was delivered by FedEx within 4 days. However, it was delivered tipped on it's side (horizontally) which damages the internal components. I refused it and it never even was unloaded from the truck. The next day, I called the store to explain the situation. After much time spent on hold and being bounced from one associate to another, I finally asked for a manager. Again, many minutes of holding, I finally spoke with Paige and explained my situation to her. She took my order # and information and said that she would investigate and call me back. I waited patiently for 3 days, no call back!!! I then called the store again and was on hold for minutes again. She told me that I could purchase another one again or wait up to 10 days for a refund on my card, then purchase another one! I told her that I would not purchase another one, that I just wanted a new softener to replace the one that was shipped improperly. (FedEx's fault). Finally, I asked her to let me speak with someone higher up the management chain. After waiting on hold once again, I spoke with Gary. Explained everything once again and he assured me that he would look into it and get back with me. He offered compensation for the issue and I patiently waited once again. This was on a Friday, it's now the following Tuesday and I've heard nothing back from him! Getting a bit peeved, I called the store again. Another 10 minutes of being bounced around and put on hold, waiting to speak with Gary! Finally, a female associate said "he must be busy" and took my name and #, saying that he would return my call. 5 hours later and haven't heard anything again! I was in management with Kmart for many years and if I would have treated a paying customer this way, I'm sure that I would have received severe repricussions! I guess that I might have to turn to a source of media to get their attention and be treated properly! I've wrote everything down, so I can back up what I'm saying! Very poor management at the Gaylord, MI Lowes!!! They have had over $500.00 of my money since I ordered it!! STILL, NO RESPONSE OR RESOLUTION!!!! James Reish
