They have the softest mango sorbet I had so far and I had alot of mango sorbet. What I like about this icecream shop is that it's well hidden and it's not crazy over crowded. The flavours are creative and it's really hard to decide which ones should end up on your cone. I was really surprise to see this many vegan options (all flavours with liquor are vegan lol). I also tried their homemade lemonade and it's amazing! Although I'm not a crazy icecream lover I would come by more often because it's crazy good. read more

Strategically placed near to schools and kindergartens but completely off the standard tourist routes you can find one of Berlin's better ice-cream parlours. The ice-cream is handmade and the choice changes daily. Be prepared so queue as this quality of ice-cream for 80cent a scoop means there are plenty of customers happy to give it their business. When the weather is nice make sure you take your purchase to the nearby Kleistpark where you can enjoy the grounds while you enjoy your cone. read more

The name says it all! The 'icecream', gelato I would say. It was thick & dense, it didn't melt quickly either. I tried the pistachio which was basically ground nuts with just enough cream & sugar to make it hold together nicely. I also had the black sesame which was also fantastic. There's always a danger of being labeled a food snob when you write a review such as this one, beginning with an absolute, even going so far as to use a dangerous superlative. That being said, I have to say, unequivocally, that, although Berlin has many wonderful culinary options, good ice cream cannot be counted among them. In fact, since I moved to Germany in 2003, I have had very little ice cream which can be compared to the great ice creams that are so readily available in America. Now, one can uy Ben and Jerry's here, so long as one can rationalize the price tag attached. Berlin Homemade Icecream is the best I've yet had here; it's the nearest thing that I have yet had in Germany überhaupt that resembles the good ol' American variety. The flavors are stupendous and the price is not terrible. The fact that the shop is found in a street that seems the most unlikely place for such a venture probably accounts for the otherwise unexplainable bargain. This is a find that I almost reluctantly recommend as I can only imagine when the powers that be realize that the owner can really make ice cream, we will have to find it amongst other jewels, crowded beyond belief, forced to wait in line for ice cream which will cost twice as much. Das beste Eis der Stadt! Es gibt immer wieder mal neue Sorten die (fast) alles super lecker sind. Die Nuss-Sorten sind fantastisch und Sahlep ist meine neue Lieblingsorte (mit Rosenwasser, Pistazien etc. schmeckt wie das Getränk). Es gibt immer wieder andere Sorten aber es ist immer was nach meinem Geschmack dabei :) Ab und zu gibt es auch ziemlich abenteuerliche Sorten, z.B neulich Schafskäse schmeckt erstaunlicherweise recht lecker (durfte mal problieren). Hätte ich nicht gedacht, aber so lange es meine Lieblingssorten gibt, bleibe ich bei denen. Das der Besitzer unhöflch ist, kann ich nicht bestätigen. War schon total oft da in den letzen Jahren. Seit der Laden aufgemacht hat. Die Preise sind in den letzen Jahren gestiegen aber 1 Euro bzw 1.30 je nach Sorte finde ich völlig OK für das Eis und die Portionen. read more

The ice cream is delicious but the owner of this place is a very angry man who is easily stressed by crowds and small children. (Dude, maybe this is the wrong profession for you.)
