I have been dealing with this florist for years in ordering flowers for my family's gravesite. Called them today and found out that they changed ownership recently. Their current staff are rude, abrupt, and lacking in any basic knowledge of their own business. Was repeatedly put on hold for lengthy periods because their staff could not answer simple questions. Was disconnected and they did not call me back. The words please and thank you are unknown to their staff. They have absolutely nothing in stock. They refused to make a grave blanket for my family's grave. They did not even have Christmas wreaths, even though we are only a month away from Christmas.. They had no silk flowers in stock. Would avoid this business like the plague. Really sad because they used to be an excellent florist and I used them for many years. read more

Berlin Blossom shop is an incredible florist. We planned on shopping around for our floral arrangements for our wedding but were convinced this was the place for us after speaking with the owner, Mrs. Lee. To see Mrs. Lee get excited about creating our arrangements for our big day made us excited and really felt special. The vision she had for our flowers was impressive, but seeing that vision come to light exceeded all of our expectations. The arrangements were simply stunning! I want to express my appreciation to the team at Berlin Blossom Shop. My mother-in-law and I came in Monday to set up arrangements for urn decorations and flowers for a memorial service. Our situation was unusual in that it was a service for two family members who'd been close in life and passed 3 days apart. Chrissy understood our wishes to establish individual but complementary urn decorations, and a standing arrangement for each. She took her time with us. She made sure the colors would flow with the urns. She made sure there would be nice balance. And, without being asked, wanted to keep the costs affordable. The consultation was very personable. My daughter ordered Mother's Day flowers that were to be delivered on Saturday May 11th The day before Mother's Day. May 11th came and she was notified that day that the flowers would not be delivered until Monday May 13th the day after Mother's Day. May 13th came and went with still no delivery. Finally on May 14th late in the day the flowers were delivered 3 days late. This is unacceptable and very poor business. Also no compensation offered. Needless to say my daughter was very upset and distressed over this whole ordeal. read more

They were helpful in decision making, easy to reach, responsive, and sensitive to the budget of the bride and groom who were paying for the wedding themselves. It truly was like hiring a decorator for inside (cocktail hour and reception) and out (ceremony under a tent in front of an arbor). I can't tell you how impressed I was with this flower shop. I called the shop in the morning when they first opened to order flowers for a viewing that night. Not only did they get them done and delivered by the 2pm deadline of the funeral home, they turned out even more beautiful than the pictures on their website. We looked for a flower shop close to our Venue for the wedding and this place was not only practically right next door but the person we spoke with (Lee) was friendly, accommodating and listened to what we wanted. The flower arrangement was not only beautiful but she searched relentlessly until she found us the vase color and size we wanted for the chapel. We actually still have one of the vases sitting right outside our front door to remind us of our beautiful day! Lee is awesome sauce and I would give her 10 stars if they had 10! I wanted to take a moment to share a wonderful experience I had with Berlin Blossom Shoppe.... First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner even took the time to go over different options and pricing with me. When the arrangement arrived it was absolutely stunning! And it lasted over 2 weeks before I had to start taking out a few flowers to keep it looking fresh! I wasn't aware of this but in the past I've used national chains who keep a portion of your sale as a fee so if I bought a $100 arrangement I was only receiving $50 worth of flowers. So It definitely pays to use a local florist where every penny you spend goes into the arrangement!! Thank you to the entire staff at Berlin Blossom! read more

A woman scolded me just now for trying to park on Estaugh Ave next to where this building is located- saying that my spot was for flower shop customers. Hadn't even turned off my car yet or straightened out mind you so how would she know what business I was patronizing? Despite that, I would've been absolutely okay with being told to move BUT there was no sign located on the street or building designating that stretch of sidewalk for flower shop customers. I wasn't even near the yellow strip of sidewalk either. I thought this was very unprofessional. If you have a problem with people being unable to access your business then perhaps get permission to move storefronts so you can use that side parking lot to the left of you. Or get a sign for Estaugh Ave. read more

Beware if you use this shop. I went in, ordered and paid for a casket flower arrangement for my mother's funeral yesterday. They were suppose to be delivered to a local funeral home Thursday afternoon. The flowers were NOT delivered. I received a call early yesterday morning from the funeral director asking where I ordered the flowers from as he did not get them. My bank account was charged for them. So as I am getting ready to lay my mother to rest I have to worry about where her flowers are, $250 flowers. After many phone calls by the funeral director it turns out my flowers were still laying in their shop. They allowed someone who was NOT ME to change the date and time of delivery to Friday, 10/4 at 5pm. Nobody bothered to call me to confirm this change. Our funeral service had to be delayed waiting for them to deliver the flowers to the cemetery. I saw the change of time written on my order. This is a very poor business. If it was not for the diligence of my funeral director my mother's casket would not have had the flowers. BUYER BEWARE! Save yourself the unnecessary grief of having to find your flowers. I did not even get an apology or an explanation. Poor business practice! read more
