It's weird to rate a church. It's like rating a person, or a family, or a friend.
Anyway, when I first came here I had a feeling that it was a loving environment, did not feel fake at all, which had always been my biggest fear about churches. The building is just ok, nice west-facing windows, cute decorations but I would love more art inside the sanctuary. The worship style is kinda low-key but still usually involves a piano, guitar, light drums, and a singer. It does not feel like a "performance". My personal desire though would be to turn the music down so you could hear the congregation's voices more.
The people at BCC are loving and good. I have made several good friends here. Also there are a lot of very thoughtful people here who ask lots of good questions and are not afraid to think deeply about what they believe and why they believe it. read more
