They also lack respect for their customers. My aunt chose this place when my grandmother passed away. She dealt with Peter. He was very short and rude with us. When I asked him what is the address for the cemetery he did not respond at first. I asked him again and still no response. When I finally googled it on my own and asked him if that was the address he said " yeah yeah something like that". I asked him to confirm because we need to send the appropriate information to our family. He then responded if that's the one in that area then it's the one. He told us we needed to bring my grandmothers clothes by Monday. Since I had a few errands to run to prepare for the funeral, I decided to do it on Saturday. I looked on the website and saw that it said they closed at 8:00 pm on Saturday's . Something told my to call just to double check. I called around 2:45. They said they closed at 3:30. I said ok I will figure it out. I was in the middle of doing something but dropped it to rush over there. I got there at about 3:20. When asked what I needed, I told the desk clerk I needed to drop clothes off for Peter. Peter was with another family and I didn't mind waiting but when he saw me he said " You have to be kidding me". I asked what the problem was and he didn't not respond. The whole time while working with the other family he kept looking over my way and saying this was ridiculous. Sighing, huffing and puffing. I felt like a burden instead of a customer. He finally approached me about 20 minutes later on the phone and I heard him he say "yeah this is crazy. I'm down here dealing with two families". Again I felt like a burden. It took all but 3 minutes for him to look at what I had and he said "I thought you weren't coming". I said I never said that. I said I would figure it out right? But what did it matter? I got there before 3:30 and it took him 3 MINUTES TO LOOK AT WHAT I BROUGHT! I was extremely confused as to why he was making such a big deal and he truly made me uncomfortable. Oh and Peter, on their website, is listed as an office manager. It says "As the office manager, Peter works diligently at fine tuning the details of each funeral service. He specializes in creating beautiful programs, prayer cards and bookmarks, ensuring a personal touch for each family" Icing on the cake... when they wrote 2020 on the grandmas cards that they donated. When I called to ask if they can reprint them( I was also willing to pay) after the funeral, Peter said " well I sent it to your aunt to double check them". Well maybe you guys should have printed the right date and not let a grieving woman double check YOUR work? The description of him and what they stand for is completely FALSE on their site. From my first call with Phil, he made sure we felt comfortable and cared for. When it came time for decisions about Mass cards and a dress (amongst other things), we were presented with a wide choice of options to make sure it was personal to our family. We were able to hold a morning wake with a small service at the end before the procession which was very appropriate. The Deacon was eloquent. I made some sandwiches to ensure my 85-year-old dad had something to eat, and Vinny was nice enough to run back and forth to the refrigerator whenever we asked for these and waters for our guests. Joe was our hearse driver, and he was excellent at waiting at the correct traffic lights so as not to lose anybody on the way to the cemetery. His Consecration prayer at the gravesite was perfect. I hope I don't talk to these guys too much, but I absolutely know where I'm going if I need compassionate, thorough funeral services.
