I left the Catholic Church because my high school taught students to shun each other rather than support each other. What a horrible message Bishop Carroll has sent out to the world. Home to the International Baccalaureate Program with more kids becoming National Merit Finalists than another high school in Kansas and sends kid to some of the most prestigious universities in the world who are prepared for real life situations. Great sports and has one of the best swim teams in Kansas who has been the undefeated city champ for too long to count! Anybody can fit into this diverse school. There are dozens of clubs for anyone! We should be proud to have this school in our city!

Maintaining their district's public image is way more important to them than addressing its severe bullying issues. My, then 9 year old, child was ruthlessly bullied for her lisp (which she has an IEP for) she attempted to end her life because of the emotional toll it took on her. The school still refused to address it as 'bullying'. And we are far from the only family that's experienced this. My kindergartener was placed on the wrong school bus home and they could not locate him. He had to switch teachers mid year due to inappropriate behavior on said teachers part. My heart sinks to my stomach every time I see the schools name pop up on my phone, terrified what they'll say about my children, this is not normal or healthy. Money and image are all they care about, not its student. PLEASE do NOT send your children here. We cannot wait to get out of here.

I transferred to this school halfway through the school year when I was in 5th grade. It was an amazing decision, and I am so glad I did it. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and welcoming. The teachers are all very encouraging and they continue to help me, as well as my classmates grow in their faith every day. I am now in 8th grade, and I plan to graduate here, because of my love for this wonderful school. So, with that, if you are looking for an amazing, encouraging, loving Christian school, CCA is the place for you.

But you are never going to find a school that can make everybody happy. I was so sad to read the negative reviews because that was not our experience. Our kids graduated at the top of their high school class and I believe it was because they got a great basic education here, as well as learning Bible verses and being encouraged to grow in their faith. The teachers were firm but fair, and loved their students. I can highly recommend CCA after being part of this school as a parent, a teacher, and now as a grandparent.
