The previous person we used 10 years ago took about 2 hours and cost $400 so when the gentleman showed up to look at the site and quoted "No more than $1,000, we felt it was reasonable. When this company arrived, it was clear they were on the struggle bus. First contractor shot a laser level. This contractor used a string level. After an entires day work ( struggle)and my husband assisting them, my husband attempted to pay for their service and they declined stating they would bill us. $1350 and my husband and I still had to finish out the leveling as it was sub par. This business might do a great job with demolition and or excavation, but poring ag line and leveling it, they are not.

Bad foundation that leaked in our basement, doors that would not close and latch, and windows that leaked and destroyed stone work and drywall on the inside. Gib Boxa offered no help and ran and hid when confronted. Our advice to anyone thinking about a Hearthstone Home product is to do your homework and learn from the biggest mistake of our lives and not use Gib Boxa and Hearthstone Homes. We learned a very expensive lesson and our hope is and has been since 2003 that no other family is taken advantage of by Hearthstone Homes and the coward named Gib Boxa! We will continue to educate others about all of the dirty tricks Gib Boxa pulled on us in hopes of saving them from making a huge mistake like we did!
