I'm sure he can give a good haircut, but he would rather make a joke of your haircut, move you out in 5 minutes, and laugh about it with his long-time cronies. My haircut was uneven everywhere and could only be that poor on purpose. Additionally he charged $3 to trim eyebrows and used massive shears that could cut sheet metal. Go here if you want to sing the praises of ultra-right wing politics while literally and figuratively getting sheared. But if you want a good haircut go see the other barber right by the post office. She does a great job. You'll find it on yelp and you can see the other like reviews of people who went to this place initially.

I sent my teenaged son in today to get a haircut. The stylist Beverly did not listen to anything he…read morewanted. She kept calling him a "pretty girl" and gave him a girl's haircut, despite him stating exactly what he wanted. She actually cut his hair about 4" shorter than he asked, and cut off all the parts that were bleached, which he definitely did NOT ask for. Now we need to (hopefully) find a way to redo the bleach in his hair. She didn't even do a good job, it's very uneven in the back and we don't know how to even it out without making it even shorter. This is especially disappointing because the haircut was for an event this Friday, a formal event where there will be photos. He needed a specific length of hair and for it to be two colors (the way it was when he went in) and now it looks nothing like what he asked for. Yes, hair grows back, but not in three days, so Beverly has effectively ruined this event for my son. I. AM. FURIOUS.

Husband got a buzz cut ($14) and a shave ($16 or was it $14, oops I forget). Anyway, it was his first "real shave." It took a while, but a lot went into the perfect shave. My husband was really impressed with it and enjoyed the process. It was fascinating to watch. It's much more than just taking a razor over your face. It's an art really... Very cool. His haircut was also exactly as he liked it (wayyy better than the ones I give him). Really got nicely cleaned up AND they fixed his unruly eyebrows! Service was great! We are from Kirkland, but if we are in the area he'd love to return. Well worth it.
