Considering it was a Sunday, I found that to be quite impressive and a testament to the restaurant. The food was piping hot. So hot I couldn't even bite into it for fear of burning my mouth! I took the time to enjoy the fries which were quite enjoyable - crunchy and tasty. Also, in comparison to other restaurants... the chicken pieces were HUGE! You're very much getting your money's worth in that regards. When it had finally cooled down enough to eat... it was good. It didn't live up to the hype I was given before going in, but it was definitely enjoyable. The fried covering was crunchy and very tasty without it being overly oily. The coleslaw was different than what I've tasted before but after an intriguing first few bites found myself happily digging in. The biscuits were perfect: harder shell with a wonderful hot and soft interior :) I look forward to another visit to compare against this first visit.

recently in the news it was revealed that many franchise owners were suing the Popeyes franchise…read morefor changing the method of butchering the chickens. They claim the chickens are no longer Halal method because the major arteries are no longer cut and the blood drained, which is required for being certified Halal. They claim most of their customers are Islams and they are losing them causing financial harm. The last time I was there the claim seemed to be true as I noticed the blood vessels in the dark meet were indeed full of blood and the taste had changed, not in a good way. I'm not saying it's not safe to eat as it is well cooked but I did notice the centre of the leg was all red and the taste was different from the outside. My solution: I bought an air fryer and some hot sauce. It's a shame as I loved their chicken before they changed. Mr. Wontbe Back

I almost always stop here to get some fresh and crispy chicken pieces or the popcorn. However, last night I pulled up and felt like giving their new double chicken sandwich.. boy oh boy does it give Popeye's a run for their money with their delicious chicken sandwich. Service is superb .. I always get the sweet cashier at drive threw (Jenny.. I think) who knows me and my husband and shes very pleasant and cracks up to our jokes all the time really friendly girl and she deserves all the credit for delivering our food rapid, delicious and flavourful everytime. Food : always delicious!!! Their new double chicken sandwich is Amazing haha I know its kfc .. but its still good and consistent.. I like franchises who care about consistent service and food.. most kfc are dreadful and always slow .. this one in particular is very great and totally really it! Overall, I will definitely be back as I'm a regular and I'll definitely order the chicken sandwich again! I hope it's not a limited time thing its sooo gooodd don't take it off your menu please!! The chicken was crispy and freshly cooked. They managed to get all 20 pieces of brown for me. The taste was great and not overcooked. Along with the 20 pieces I got 10 hot wings and popcorn chicken. Had to wait a few minutes for them to cook me a fresh batch The wings were spicy but not to spicy and they were moist and you can tell it's was just made. The popcorn chicken well what can you say it's popcorn chicken and it does not stay to long. It was fresh and tender as well. What can one say. When you need your fix this is the place to go

TL;DR/The Short Version: Casual Korean eatery. Great combos…read morewith lots of variety. Everything was tasty. The Long Version: My husband and I went here for lunch. I got the fried chicken combo ($16.99) and my husband got the beef combo ($16.99). We requested no sesame seeds for our food and they accommodated by not sprinkling sesame seeds on the rice, japchae or beef, but they forgot that one of the fried chicken sauces has sesame seeds in it, so I had to give my husband that piece. We were going to share anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The Fried Chicken Combo came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, each one a different flavour: original, sweet and spicy, and soy garlic. The sweet and spicy sauce has sesame seeds in it. Since I can't eat sesame seeds but can tolerate slight contamination, I didn't bring it up and just gave that piece to my husband. Although in retrospect I should have alerted them for them to be more aware for someone else who might have a more severe issue. Both combos came with japchae, rice, 2 dumplings, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was great. I liked both the original and the soy garlic. Hubby liked the sweet and spicy. The beef was tender and flavourful. And I liked that it was lean meat and not gristly. The dumplings were deep-fried and had pork and vegetables in it. The rice was nicely steamed and slightly sticky which I liked. The japchae was flavourful and had shiitake mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onions in it. It was little too oily for my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The combos also came with a can of soda or a bottle of water. My husband got a Coca Cola and I got a bottle of water, which I took to go to drink during my shopping adventures after lunch, since we were given tap water with our meal. Service was courteous and efficient. Lots of indoor seating with televisions playing K-pop music videos in the dining room. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs, so might be a problem for those with mobility issues. Review #18 (2025)

(Apparently the bag of sauce wasn't mixed properly before they opened it and portioned into bottles, so the flavor wasn't evenly distributed.) After watching more closely of how the staff and upper management worked, I stopped eating here all together, was just too scared, sorry. It's only slightly cleaner than their other location, probably because they have more spare time as they are not as busy, yet their health inspection scores are still low. Watching them clean, I've seen their staff be careless with their spray bottles and when I point out that a lot of their cleaning solution is landing straight on the food, they laugh and say it's safe because it's non-toxic and continue spraying the food as they clean structural surfaces. I guess it's part of their flavoring lol Barely anyone washes their hands, too much in a hurry to complete orders, they touch everything, and most don't bother using gloves because they're so low quality that they rip easily and they're concerned with wasting money. What tares my heart apart is how this franchise uses millions of small plastic bags everyday to separate individual single customer portions of all their food, then throw the plastic out after each use to stay hygienic, since plastic cannot be recycled. It's an incredible waste of material. Very outdated. Makes me feel like there's no point in recycling at home, when industries are allowed to produce this much non-recyclable garbage. Lower management are overwhelmed and undermine eachother, so the decisions of one shift screw up the next lol (Food poisoning confirmed right before the corona pandemic was official, so no one noticed that their symptoms was just food poisoning from staff here forgetting cooked chicken left on their counter for about 8 hours, then the next shift came and packaged it for consumption). Upper management cannot be bothered and seem swamped with work behind the scenes (paper work). They just don't reinforce anything, they have no qualifications or are interested in learning any, they just want to carry on the next day. They're desperate, and it seems like the franchise head office offer no kind of administrative assistance, or maybe they do but they just can't afford it, so they're on their own. Feels like they're trying hard to hide mistakes to avoid having another location shut down again. Outside rumors the entire franchise itself is dying, which is easy to assume is true when looking here. Chicken that's been cooked in a rotisserie oven, stored in an open heated container as it cools down a little for an hour, then reheated on the grill... just doesn't taste good compared to the real stuff I'm use to. I've had microwaved left over Costco roasted chicken better than this at home... so this is sad and really confusing. Wait, let me be honest here lol I've never liked any of the chicken from any St-Hubert location over the past 30 years lol It's always dry all the way through. This is just convenient cafeteria fast food, which is overly priced since it's quality doesn't beat depanneurs. I think this is a taste you have to be groomed into enjoying... or like those parents who start toddlers off with bland food, and never introduce them to much seasoning as they grow up.

Five stars for convenience, three stars for food. The place has a takeout counter with lower…read morepricing than the restaurant. There's a drive through and a decent sized seating area in the main restaurant. For takeout, the hot food comes in a box with a paper dinner plate. The cold food comes on top in a bag. They take credit cards and are fairly inexpensive. The only downside is that the food was fairly mediocre. Not nearly as good as Brook's Chicken in Oneonta.

It has ev charging station (2, didn't saw any place to pay just plug and charge and clearly marked as customer friendly) which is very nice. The place has a bar (never saw one in a benny before) and it use little disc when you order to dine in that you put on a spot on the table and they know where you are. This allow them to bring you food at your table easily. There is 4 big tv with a portion of the menu that often get replace with ads. I hate when they do that, it slow down ordering cause the customer can't look at the menu anymore. I asked for a physical menu and it had more choice than what the tv was offering. I took a club with brown meat and brown bread and 12 mozzarella sticks. First the sticks. It's much more like bites, it's very small but good. The club itself is way better than what I had at my other benny but still feels very empty. Especially when comparing to clubs from scores that are so full, it was pretty thin. It reminded me of st-Hubert club but better. But at least, it had brown bread something the other place is always out. I'm not sure I got brown meat but that's not a big problem. It came with fries, coleslaw and sauce. We also took the chicken Cesar wraps. It was good. Came with fries and coleslaw. All in all, this benny was way better than my benny near my house, staff was very friendly and answered perfectly the question we had and food was prepared very fast. The star lost if because of the club having like half of it with meat, very thing, don't try to find the tomatoes. It could be way better for the same price.
