Completely agree with previous review. They made the drinks incorrectly, and served them in tiny…read moreglasses. The food took forever, so after 45 minutes, the waitress brought over two bowls of "coleslaw" to placate us. When the food finally arrived, over half the orders were wrong in one way or another. The food that was supposed to be hot was nowhere near so. The Poutine was soggy. The fried chicken was burnt black, but we decided to peel the skin off (it SHOULD have been the best part). The meat was dry and had no flavour whatsoever. This place makes Swiss Chalet seem like a 3 Michelin Star establishment. I would steer clear.

The ambiance looked great from the outside with an open front in the summer time, which drew us in…read more Despite speaking French to the waitress (my wife is fluent), the black-died-haired, tatooed waitress dictated English was going to be how we spoke. (We came to Quebec partially to drink in the culture and speak French, but okay....) Flat beer... I did not finish it (rare event) White wine was much too sweet. Horrible ribs Horrible ribs at a smoke house? Yea Sent back the first order because although the plate was hot the meat was cold inside. Were they microwaved? They came back luke warm 5 minutes later. (This time more moist, like they were boiled a bit, then re-sauced.) There was way too much sauce... And the sauce was aspiring-to be Costco-type-quality... But did not come close, (and I do not believe Costco has good quality.) I eat out a lot. This was unusually bad. So bad that we did not finish even 1/4 of the ribs. Not sure how a smoke house with horrible BBQ is supposed to make it.

Here's some advice - if you're hungry for chicken, go to St-Hubert's. Yes, it's a chain, but don't…read morelet that concern you. If you didn't know it was a chain restaurant, you wouldn't believe it. The restaurant is modern, upscale, and spotlessly clean. There is a family dining room, and the pub side, which I prefer only because I like the ambiance in the pub a bit more. Same food either room. This is a rotisserie chicken paradise. I kid you not. We've eaten here for years on our ski trips to nearby Mt. Tremblant. One of the coolest things is that we can now sit in the pub and have a beer or two with our boys, as the drinking age is 18 in Quebec. The first time we came here years ago, I was a bit amused and confused by the hamburger bun bottom they serve with every plate of chicken. I soon figured out what this is for though; put some pull-apart tender chicken on that bun, pour some gravy on that, and top with their excellent coleslaw. MMMmmm good! I usually get the leg plate, which like all their meals is served with your choice of sides, and a choice (or both if you want) of creamy or vinegar coleslaw. Both are excellent. Actually pretty much everything is. Remember, this is Quebecois comfort food - it ain't haute cuisine. But damn it's good. And save room if you can for dessert. The chaumiere pudding is diabetes on a plate, but it is divine. So is the mille feuille. The chicken. This is all about the tenderest, juicy perfectly cooked chicken. I wish there was a St-Hubert here in Rhode Island!

If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true alpine escape in the heart of the pedestrian village, this is it. I ordered the Montagnard Burger, and it was exactly what I needed after a few runs. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and held up perfectly in the bun. I paired it with the garlic fries, which were a standout--perfectly crispy with just the right amount of garlic punch. The real showstopper, however, was the CHALUMEAU. This isn't just a drink; it's a full experience. It's a rich, warming blend of Canadian maple whisky, Coureur des Bois, Frangelico, and a sharp hit of espresso. It's topped with a mountain of whipped cream and coffee beans, making it the ultimate "pick-me-up" for a cold day. The restaurant has a great energy--buzzing but still comfortable. The "journal" style food liners and the wooden interiors really lean into the heritage feel of Mont-Tremblant. Pro Tip: Definitely try the Chalumeau if you're a fan of espresso martinis or spiked coffees; it's easily one of the best après-ski drinks in the village!
