Came with a broken tooth in unbearable pain and while they were scanning my teeth I heard and felt a little crack on that broken tooth. They said it must've been the scanning tool that I heard. That's a blatant lie. They then decided to give me no pain medication or anything whatsoever. I have a dental emergency and they knew this beforehand. Do not trust these people. I was 8 minutes late and because of that they weren't able to even tell me what was going to be done in the future to fix the tooth. I understand that I was late but a simple sentence out of the dentists' mouth would at least have put me at ease knowing what we were going to do about it. I get it. Time schedules are strict and I respect that. What I don't respect is the fact that I now have no choice but to go to an urgent care for antibiotics and a plan. They cracked an already broken tooth and tried to gaslight me into thinking it wasn't true. Unbelievable. read more

The office made a scheduling error. Apparently the appt. was never entered into the scheduling system. When the patient arrived for the appt. with the appt card, the receptionist was unapologetic, uncaring was less than sympathetic, and escalated the situation. The patient became visibly upset and cursed at the receptionist who then threw the patient out. The receptionist said she would never apologize for her part in the escalation with an upset client. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist's office and I'm in my late seventies. I went for an evaluation of my recent implants and a tooth that needed a filling. My first appointment (Ok) they had to do exrays. The second appointment was with the husband of the husband and wife team. He only spent 15 minutes at the most with me. He didn't look at my implants and said I would have to have an "evaluation"which was a separate appointment. He wasn't very friendly and seemed more interested in finding things to charge me money. I thought at that time "this is like a mill". Rushing me through and telling me more things to spend my money on. Finally the third appointment. Because I was worried about not getting my "Second opinion" I called the office ahead of time and wanted to make sure they would evaluate the top and the bottom. She said yes. "How much would it cost" I asked. She said $65. I double checked. Yup $65. "See you at 12 noon" I arrived at 12 noon. The lady dentist arrive at 12:23 pm which made me look at my cell phone for the time. Maybe she was having lunch. When we met I said to her "I give to some similar charities as you".( I had read up on them in their promotional site) He had taken an ethics course on dentistry, she claimed she was interested in making her patience feel comfortable. Instead of saying "Oh what charities are those" she said nothing!. She started looking at my bottom teeth and I said I would rather have her look at my implant (the top) first. Without examining me she said they look good. I said I don't care how they look"they don't feel right" I tried to explain why they didn't fit and feel right. She could have said "well let's look and see if I can find anything wrong" She didn't even look in my mouth. She said something like "We disagree so I can't help you" and walked out of the room! She made me feel it was my fault that she didn't examine me! I am usually considered easy going. When I got to the desk they said it would be $80. I said I was told it would be $65. They went to the back ,and talked to the dentist I presume, and was told it was still $80 for an evaluation. I shouldn't have paid since I only got 2 teeth looked at. The woman hygienist did an excellent job. When she finished she told me I had to leave and make another appointment. The dentist was delayed by another (surgical) appointment. It could have been due to poor scheduling, who knows? THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN MY LIFE! I was furious! Either way, I'm damn sure she could have taken a BRIEF break to look at my teeth. I paid $100 for the cleaning even though I had insurance. I've been going to another dentist ever since. My personal opinion is they wanted extra money for a second appointment. In addition, I have a gut feeling (again, my OPINION of this place) is they perform unnecessary procedures to bring in plenty of income, just look at how much money they spent on their office. Think about it, how many people do you know need implants instead of, say, root canals and/or crowns (cheaper!)? I don't trust this place, period. read more

In the course of my 70+ years I've undergone multiple root canals, gingivetomies, severe abcesses, extractions, etc. due to a 40 year battle with gum disease. I am no stranger to painful, grueling dental procedures. My unfortunate experience with Dr. Tyler Carmack can be called nothing less than brutal. It was time for the extraction of my remaining lower teeth and to be fitted with complete dentures. I thoroughly explained my situation when booking the appointment and again while sitting in the chair to his cold, impatient assistant Pam. Dr. Carmack hurries in, no pleasantries, takes a fast look in my mouth and asks me "What do I expect him to do?" When I inquired about anesthesia Pam stated 'no anesthesia, he numbs you'. A little worrying but I assumed he would take every care for my safety and well being. Day of the extractions he hurries in, no pleasantries & asks how my blood pressure is to which I replied "I took my BP meds this a.m. but I am scared witless right now". Even after multiple novocaine injections I felt everything - so painful I was being tugged out of the chair and panting after each tooth was removed. "Just two more" were the only words from him. Why did he not send me to an Oral Surgeon? Never questioned if I was doing OK. Snapped at by 'Pam', no follow-up call to inquire how I was doing. I had to give one star which is for the wonderful receptionist Angie. To repeat - the most brutal experience of my life. read more
