Booked myself and my cousin in for a cut, wash and blow dry over the phone 8 days in advance - at the time of booking stated we both wanted a cut wash and blow dry at the same time if possible - one with a top stylist one with a creative director. Person on the phone confirmed there was a slot to accommodate this and was all booked in, had done my research on their website on prices so knew what to expect when we got there.
8 days later arrive at the salon, nice place, greeted on arrival and offered drinks - all great. Problems start when we're both called over, firstly apparently my cousin is booked in for a blow dry not a cut and the stylist she is booked in with can't cut hair so can only blow dry her hair - I'm quite perplexed at this as I booked the appointment and know I booked us both in for the same so how can one be booked for a cut and blow dry and one just a blow dry? Later they tell us that apparently we were both booked in for a blow dry but my stylist can accommodate a cut too, reluctantly I got my hair cut while my cousin waited.

Went to pay and was told the price was £57, now when I went online before I booked it stated £50/53 nowhere did it say £57. The lady behind the counter informs me all the prices are on the website, so I go back online and it still says £50/53 for creative director. 'Oh we've just updated it on our app' - well I don't have your app I went by what's on your website, if you updated your app wouldn't you update your website. And then I'm told oh well your hair was long, I said that's fine but it doesn't say long hair charge on your website but even if I take the higher amount on your website or price list it's £53 not £57. Anyway after much ado, she goes away to speak to one of the owners and comes back and says she can't do anything the price list says from - again I refer back to the website, nowhere does it say from it just has the two prices. Then she pulls out the price list they have printed in the salon, yes this states from but this isn't what it says online and also why have the two prices for one service and then say from?
Anyway, finally 'on this occasion' they were able to give me a 'discount' and I paid £53 but of course it left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning there.
To make matters worse, I came home and downloaded the app and there is no price list on there!
All a bit weird if I'm honest and seems like they were just trying to squeeze a few extra pounds out of people, if they do this to every customer and get away with it I'm sure it will l add up.
