I choose this company too do the repair. They responded to my call on the second ring. The service dispatch set my expectations and said they'd have someone between 1 & 4 that same day. I got a text with response updates. The plumbers called at 11:30 and said they could swing by and fix it now (earlier than expected), if I had time right now. I agreed and they came. Poor guys had to bail out about 5-6 -- 5 gallon buckets of muddy water to get to the problem. They worked through the rain that started and got it fixed. It was disheartening to see them wallow in the mud and getting wet at the end, but they diligently got it completed, regardless of the wet obstacles. They even came the next day and double checked that it was fixed properly, because the rain was filling the hole at the end and it was fixed but not truly visible in the murky puddle the rain was making. I would recommend this company to anyone and I thank their employee Jonathan for a job well done. Thanks guys, it was very professionally completed to my satisfaction.

I had multiple possible plumbing jobs of varying complexity and he listened to my concerns and presented me with clear options and insights. I know that in general it would be bad to encourage tipping in every industry but for the level of service provided in this case I wish there had been an opportunity to leave a tip. I will never call another plumber as long as I live in the area. Thanks for the excellent service.

During the recent freeze event in Lafayette we had a burst pipe. I was offshore at the time and my…read morewife was without water. I did research via Reddit to see who people were using and I ended up calling Hargrave. They required a $150 deposit that did not apply towards the work being performed because in so many words "they were busy". Once onsite they quoted $850 to cut a 6inch section of sheetrock and replace a copper line with PEX. No sheetrock repair. I asked for a detailed quote to no avail as I was suspect this was a half hour job for experienced personnel. Due to having to pay the $150 dispatch fee, they knew I was committed to paying for their services. I asked to speak with a manager which took about 45 minutes. He gave a 10% discount as a first time customer. However, I will also be a last time customer as I was correct in it taking half an hour. $1700/hr is predatory in my opinion illegal price gouging during as they stated "a freeze event". I will be looking into this further with the BBB. The only reason I give two stars vs. one is that the personnel onsite were very friendly and polite with my wife. I learned that while working retail, customers rarely tell friends about good experiences, instead they tell all their acquaintances about the bad experiences. The average is 20 people told per bad experience. With social media, that number is exponential.

We had a new fence installed on February 18 and there's a large Crape Myrtle tree near where I thought the main water line was. The water was pooling about 5 feet from the tree and near the new fence post so I thought the fence or the tree roots could have caused the leak. We turned off the water when we didn't need it and when we turned the water back on for a couple of hours the water would seep back up. Due to other issues I couldn't get the leak repaired that week. So after looking for recommendations for a plumbing company I decided to call Next Plumbing and setup an appointment. Next Plumbing sent a technician named Blake. After Blake confirmed where the leak was he recommended we re-route the leaking main water line and abandon that line going under our patio that was Near the large Crape Myrtle tree that it's roots may have caused the leak Blake said if he could fix the pipe that was leaking the roots of the Crape Myrtle tree could damage the water line again, so he recommended we run a new main water line that wasn't near the tree. I asked Blake how many days that would take, he said he should be able to do it that day, if we approve the estimate. Blake had to stay after his normal working hours, but he did finish it as promised and my wife and I have our water back on. I highly recommend Next Plumbing if you have a plumbing problem that is beyond your skill level and you can't fix it yourself
