One of the party had a cheese & spring onion toastie - good uncomplicated fare. For afters, Mum had the Meringue with a pot of Earl Grey. Being more of a savoury fella overall, I don't often go in for cakes etc, but I decided to try the Apple & Cinnamon Scone with Butter & Jam. It was delicious, I have to say. They are expanding at the moment to allow more visitors to the cafe. Two cashier counter with hot drinks and amazing desserts on display. Besides the coffee drinks, teas and a major selection of great pastries and cakes. They also serves full meals. Garden center with a meal. There's plenty of seating in their dining area. Not only the cafe as a surprise, once you start walking through it gets better and better. Coming from LA it's like the garden center of Home Depot and Lowe's meets World Market and Home Goods with a little of Whole Foods added to the mix. There's still a big indoor garden centers. Then you have a section where's its gifts and sorts. A kids area, books, stationery and cards department. Continuing on, shoes department, a holiday area where majority of the items are half off after the holidays. There's both a mens, women and kids clothing section. More home goods and accessories. It keeps going. Then you have the icing on the cake. There's a gourmet store with meats, cheeses, food and a freakin butcher. Like full on meat counter with a pretty massive amounts of meats. To say I had a good time walking through and checking everything out, that was a blast. Do I recommend this place, definitely. The places you end up sometimes will surprise you.

Was at the garden centre this morning, had coffee and scone with my partner in the cafe , on the…read moreway out saw a pair of lunar shoes, witch I liked and decided to buy them they were priced at£39.99 they were scanned at the till I had a rewards voucher for £2.50, the assistant then said my sale would be £45.49, I pointed to the price on the box, She then got a supervisor who said all the shoes with the thicker sole are £47.99, I Informed her that they were all priced at £39.99, the white shoe in that style, witch she then said they were wrongly price, I did take the shoes as I liked them, this is an £8.00 difference, and would like to think in future that y staff are more careful with your prices,
