Let me start this review by saying that I live in Connecticut and I needed an attorney practicing…read morein Rhode Island, to represent me concerning a Trust - Distribution Settlement. I found, after a thorough online search, Attorney Thomas Capalbo III, of Capalbo, Capalbo & Hartford in Westerly, Rhode Island. His reviews were impressive and that gave me some hope that I was hiring the right firm. Upon meeting Tom, I was sure of it. I was not comfortable with signing a release, sent to me by the Trust's attorney, in its original form, nor was I settled concerning its wording. Tom took the bull by the horns and informed me that I should not sign it as it was and that he would be looking out for my interests going forward. I felt like I had finally found someone who had my back. In working with Tom, I found that he was honest, professional, respectful, reliable and a man of his word. An attorney with integrity. He would either speak to me when I called, or get right back to me as soon as possible. If he told me he was going to do something, he did it. There was no waiting around to find out what was going on with my case. He kept me well informed. He is an outstanding attorney and all around nice guy who genuinely cares about his clients. In addition, his office staff is excellent and very pleasant to deal with. My interests were protected and my case was resolved in a timely manner. I believe and told him so, that he was worth every penny to me. You really want this man in your corner.

Highly recommended and referred to me by one of the most prominent Real Estate lawyers in Rhode Island. I was in a unfortunate situation and needed a honest, strong, knowledgeable lawyer to represent me against many other lawyers and Vicki did just that. We did mediation which she promoted from the beginning never wanting to see this very life changing group of incidents continue and cost more pain, agony and money. Never did I wait for returned calls, emails and never did I not know what was going on. Vicki sat with many other lawyers and a Judge, and will I say she was respected by all and always beyond prepared which help me come out on top of this twisted "nightmare". I thank my real estate lawyer for the brilliant referral, and I Thank Attorney Bejma for always being the most prepared, knowledgeable, strong, calm and fair.
