If you want a taste of what business in general and timber yard in particular should really be like,you'll get it at Bendrey. I am in the building trade and use them whenever possible. But I really do go there as much for the ambience and cosy feeling of a family business which supplies just about any timber product you could ever need and always at a very reasonable price. It's easy to get lost among the huge uncut logs and piles and piles of timber which leave you wondering to what use they might be put. recommended by our builder,. we had a lot of fencing and garden work done and these guys were really good on price, a third cheaper than the builders merchants and the did stores, and much better quality stuff. the opening hours are worth checking , not open sundays read more
