So, him staying at the hospital for a couple of days did him good. But, finally decided to take him home and his doing so much better thanks to hospice and my mom and brother taking care of him. She was in Dallas for acute care and was discharged to Abilene rehab facility where she started her rehabilitation. After about 6 weeks and slow progress, it was suggested by the therapists that she would benefit from being transferred to TLC, a post acute brain injury rehab center. Our family was somewhat cold to the idea but since our insurance approved it, why not give it a try? On the 2nd day at TLC, my wife was walking with minimal assistance!!! We were happy and extremely impressed at her progress. Counting 6 weeks now, she is walking on her own, feeding herself, and gaining her weight back. This place is where miracles happen. We cannot say enough thanks to the wonderful staff. We need more places like this in Texas.

I moved from the east coast which wasn't an easy decision for me to make but the folks over at stages made that transition less difficult as they became family to me. I can honestly say that stages made more of a positive impact on my life than anywhere I had been before. I don't know how to be grateful enough for the people at stages because without them my life would not be where it is today!
