When I…read morecame in, I was battling an aggressive post operation infection in my abdomen that left me scared, exhausted, and unsure if I would ever feel like myself again. From the very first appointment, Dr. Lieberknecht not only treated me with incredible medical expertise but also with genuine kindness and compassion that made all the difference. Dr. Lieberknecht explained things in a way I could understand and gave me hope when I needed it most! If you're searching for a doctor that combines incredible skill with a heart of gold, I can't recommend Dr. Lieberknecht enough.

She battled a constant headache, brain fog, had a hard time concentrating, and her energy was low. We were referred to Dr. Lieberknecht at B-Line - our first appoinment, he took the time to listen to her story, ask questions, and you could tell he genuinely wanted to help her heal. He recommended PEMF to get the inflammation down so she could do hyperbaric, and also neurofeedback. After getting her inflammation down, she noticed a huge difference in the way she felt. Within 4 sessions of hyperbaric, she started feeling better. She continued with the hyperbaric and her energy levels began to rise, her brain fog lifted, and she could concentrate much better. She said the difference in how she feels is "night and day". I highly recommend B-LIne and Dr. Lieberknecht to anyone suffering with post concussion issues. He will listen to you and do what he can to help you heal.

I am SO grateful that Bend now has a hyperbaric center! I went for my first "Dive" today and I feel…read morelike a million bucks! The location is so convenient...lots of parking...and the center feels like a beautiful spa rather than a sterile medical clinic. I was warmly greeted by Teresa and Jamie, the owners, and I was walked through the entire process. They have several sizes of chambers so I could go alone, with my partner...they even have a chamber big enough for a family! Before booking, I filled out a questionnaire that was reviewed. Booking online was SO easy, and I was so excited for my first Dive! MY goal was to reduce swelling - and in one hour I saw a significant decrease in my facial swelling. McKenna, one of the team members, walked me through the process of getting into the chamber. The chamber itself is amazing. I easily climbed in and relaxed with a soft pillow and the cozy mattress. They even gave me a blanket to relax! The BEST part...I was able to bring in my phone and laptop! In other hyperbaric chambers I have seen you are unable to do anything similar, so the ability to work, send emails, watch Netflix while inside was incredible! I ended up dozing off because I was so relaxed! I plan on making the chamber a regular addition to my healing journey. Hyperbaric therapy has traditionally been used by athletes and the rich and famous (sessions can be $1600!) but Halo has made the treatment completely accessible for everyone! Hyperbaric is incredible for SO many things: Wound healing, inflammation, pain relief, brain health...I could go on! Oxygen therapy has even been known to help reverse brain damage and help cancer patients! The impact of oxygen therapy is so remarkable! In fact, I was feeling pretty sore in my neck and shoulders and now as I am writing I realize that those pains are 100% gone! Halo is a beautiful space owned by beautiful people who want to bring whole body healing at an affordable price to Bend. Oh- did I mention they also do IV therapy??? And they offer a 20% discount for military, law enforcement and first responders, which is just one more way that they give back! You have a customer for life!

There was a point where I announced to the authorities and Dr. Belza that I was a long suffering domestic abuse survivor. I asked to pay for the surgery out of pocket and he had us talk to "Mike" who deals with financial issues. The experience with Mike was misleading, just like Belza and his staff, confusing and he seemed to make up his responses on the fly. In the end Dr. Belza said he was leaving his practice, having personal surgery and was not sure he could help me. All those years that he said he could and he can't even tell me himself! I would advise anyone to search hard for a good neurosurgeon to help your painful problem. Update: I found Dr. Manoso in Portland and he was shocked that I had been strung along for 7 years! One visit to him and he immediately put me on the surgery list, even bumped me up. On July 13,2020 I am finally getting my first SI Joint fusion surgery. Then I will go back and have my left side done. Very respectful doctor who has ethics and the abilities to help patients get their lives back and no long be crippled and riddled with pain. The opposite of my expensive years believing in Dr. Belza and his office. If you ever have to speak with "Mike" proceed with caution because he did not deliver, just like Belza. Very elusive and fumbles with numbers. Go somewhere else!

This review is long overdue but I feel it's necessary to provide my input on my experience…read more I had ongoing shoulder pain that progressively got worse over time to the point where it was bothering me throughout the day. I searched Yelp and found Gabriel Goldman nearby with stellar reviews. Little did I know Yelp would steer me wrong. I setup an appointment and met up with him a few days later for a consult. He seemed very confident and told me that it would take many sessions and it may be costly but he would resolve my issues. He examined my shoulder and diagnosed me as having a lot of scar tissue in my shoulder from injuries and possible overuse. Now to the appointments.... I saw him a total of 6 or 7 times. Each appointment consisted of electrical stimulation/heat for about 20 minutes followed by about 10 minutes of ultrasound and then another 20 minutes manual therapy/massage. There was also an occasional adjustment during some visits. These are some of the issues I had during my visits: 1) The heat cuffs/blankets do not have any cover on them. Each patient sweats profusely with it and it is not cleaned at all between visits which seems quite unsanitary. 2) I never once saw anybody wipe down or clean the patient tables in the treatment room or the adjacent room. This should be standard practice. Again unsanitary practice. 3) The electrodes on the e-stim machine should be replaced after each patient. The electrodes were just reapplied back onto a plastic sheet and used on the next patient (Gross). 4) The end of the ultrasound device was never sanitized. The gel was just wiped off with a paper towel. The breaking point for me is when the manual therapy/massage left me severely bruised. The bruising was so bad I couldn't use my shoulder normally during times. The entire back side of my shoulder was left with HUGE dark bruises. Family members and my girlfriend were blown away when they saw the extent of the bruising. Gabriel Goldman told me this was normal and part of "breaking down the scar tissue." The tool he used to do a lot of this therapy was "a rock that he found on the beach." What the f....? Some of the normal things I had difficultly doing after these sessions included driving, showering, putting on a shirt, etc. What irked me is that he continued with the same treatment even though there was a lot of bruising and obvious pain and he stated it was ok and part of the process. I was already compensating with wrong muscles when I had my injury and this no doubt added to it, at least in my mind. My friend who is an MD advised me to stop this therapy and get an MRI to rule out anything serious. He told me to get the potential diagnoses/treatment notes from Gabriel Goldman and send it over to him for review. I called Gabriel Goldman and let him know I need my patient notes and potential diagnosis to review with my doctor friend in an upcoming visit. He got defensive and started asking questions. I let him know I was advised to get an MRI to rule out anything serious. His response was "I could have ordered that for you too." Ok...so why didn't you? So I let him know I would be moving on and he agreed to send me my patient notes. 2 days go by and I hear nothing back. I email him and no response. A day later I call and leave a message and no response. I call again and talk to him. I let him know my appointment is tomorrow and he finally emails me my notes. In the email he states: "Referencing my chart and your initial examination my impressions were that you had a subacromial impingement, but in my comments I had differentials of tendonitis/tendonosis and possible even a partial rotator cuff tear." WOW. Why wasn't any of this mentioned to me during my visits or my initial exam? What ever happened to the "scar tissue" diagnosis? So that is my less than stellar experience. The only upside is that his adjustments were nice (as a chiropractor I would hope they would be). But again I doubt the adjustments had anything to do with my treatment protocol, just another charge to tack onto my insurance charges. I wouldn't waste my money with this kind of care. Please choose wisely.

I really don't know where to start. But I really contribute me being able to walk again (post hip…read moresurgery) to Dr. Goldman. I saw him weekly post surgery. He got me off of crutches, and worked muscles that needed to be activated/engaged again. Physical therapy left me in a great deal of pain and inflammation. I actually stopped going because it would have me down for days afterwards. I switched gears and went with Dr. Goldman to help me recover. With a concrete plan of care, and sticking to it, I am now BOXING three days a week AND personal training! His quality of care is what has me back and better than ever. I actually feel stronger now! And if things get wonky from a workout etc, I swear it just takes me one adjustment, and everything from my lower back, to my neck feels aligned and solid. He has been a life changer for me!!! I will always sing his praises from the rooftops!
