I had my surgery Jan 7th - surgery started at 6:36am and I was discharged at 8:40! Within 3 days I was walking on my own! I had almost no pain, bruising or swelling - and needed NO narcotics! His team at Total Joint Specialists was incredible...super friendly and patient focused! My recovery has gone incredibly well..in fact I was out to lunch 4 days after surgery! Anuj Gupta, MD is an incredibly talented surgeon, a compassionate physician and just an amazing person! If you find yourself in need of a hip or knee replacement, he is, without a doubt, THE BEST! I would not let any other surgeon operate on me should a need arise in the future!!!

At BenchMark I had the great fortune to have Sara Venable as my therapist, Sara did her job and reassured me that thru all the discomfort and pain i would go thru, she would do her best to put me back at a point where I can function to the best of my mobility. I have a plate with several pins in my wrist. But Sara put me thru the paces and never let me quick, I worked extra hard knowing I was seeing results week after week. So I want to thank BenchMark and Sara for being part of my story and I will never forget them. My family thanks them as well

I had been struggling with my shoulder for a few months when I decided to come in and meet with Dr…read more Ansari here. I was expecting bad news, but he informed me that it was something called "frozen shoulder" which is not uncommon for diabetics, and recommended a path of PT rather than surgery. After 8 weeks, my shoulder is showing better range of motion and strength. I stopped in today and Dr. Ansari told me that if I continue to do some of the exercises at home and in the gym, I could likely be pain free in a few months. Dr. Ansari and the staff here are fantastic. Dr. Ansari is professional, knowledgeable, and also takes the time to be sure that everything is explained thoroughly so that there is no confusion. I highly recommend Dr. Ansari if you are having issues. What I expected to be a huge problem and most likely surgery was the answer...ended up being something I could address with minimal effort (outside of PT) and cost. Cannot thank Dr. Ansari and team enough! Highly recommend.

I was simply told that the nail needed to be completely removed, without being offered other treatment options\. I was uncomfortable proceeding with such an invasive treatment without further evaluation, so I sought a second opinion\. The second doctor actually examined my foot, tested the nail, diagnosed the fungal infection, and prescribed medication\. Thankfully, the problem was successfully treated without having my nail removed\. I'm very glad I trusted my instincts and got another opinion\. If a doctor is recommending removing an entire nail, I would expect a thorough examination and a discussion of less invasive treatment options first\. I was also surprised that this office passes the credit card processing fee on to the patient\. I'm already paying for the medical visit, and then I'm charged an additional fee simply for paying by credit card\. I personally have not encountered this at other doctors' offices, and it added to my disappointment with the experience\. Between the lack of a hands\-on examination, being given only the option of nail removal, and the additional credit card fee, I would not return to this practice or recommend it to others\.
