I was deeply insulted with my first visit. I was expecting to get some pain relief and some sort of…read moreintervention. Instead, I showed up, was place in a room to watch a 45 minute video on my condition. I had been through orthopedic interventions already and also did my own homework on my condition, so most of the video I already knew. I was ready for pain relief and was deeply upset. After the video, I was given a book to help with my condition. I thought that was cool and went home. Literally, what little invention I had during this hour+ visit included an evaluation of my walking gait, a couple of pokes "does this hurt?" and a quick adjustment the included pulling on my legs. No tools used etc. Fast forward to today. To watch a long outdated video, be "given" a book and a couple pulls on the leg I was billed $226.00 (including $25 for the book that was "given" to me. No one said I would be billed for that.) I am not happy with my first experience. If anything I feel insulted. While I watched a video, she was just racking up the dollars. She may be an expert in her field, but billing practices need to be addressed. I was charged less for my actual injection from a medical doctor that DID relieve pain for a bit.

Appointment times may take a little longer compared to other clinics, but this is because each the physical therapist at Gainesville Physical Therapy spends time with every patient. I was a little nervous at first since it was new but the whole team made me feel very welcome and they were very friendly. Kayla always has a smile on her face and is extremely welcoming and knows how to connect with clients.
