My mom had to make the tough decision to get elective surgery for a hip replacement and Dr. Iams bedside manners are unmatched! From his scheduler, to him being prompt and on time for every appointment, his level of detail was just astonishing. He made her tension about the surgery go with ease. With him being a part of the piedmont network, it made life so much easier. Not such a big deal, but some seemed more knowledgeable than others. I had several areas on my body that needed to be treated, and the doctor who performed my injections worked miracles. I only saw him once and can't say that I ever met Dr. Barbour, yet I've only heard good things about him. I did see the same PA twice, and he gets extra credit for listening to my concerns and showing genuine empathy. I was thinking I might need surgery due to the severity of pain and mechanical issues with shoulder function but Dr. Golan advised that she could fix the issue. My treatment included laser, chiro adjustment and deep tissue muscle manipulation and massage. In less than two weeks I had a dramatic improvement and am now able to sleep on my right side. I am no longer considering surgery and I'm able to perform normal activities. I am working on strengthening the surrounding muscles to complete my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Golan because of her expertise and her ability to treat soft tissue and alignment issues through a variety of approaches. She is not a one trick pony.
