There was none of the usual basic respect for customer or warmth of hospitality. We suspect may have been predjudice because of our slightly alternative appearance, also we are foreigners, artists and are a couple in their '30's.
Inside, the rooms smelled badly of stale cigarettes and/or mould. The room felt oppressive. There were many signs everywhere including in the bathroom with orders of what not to do, to the point of control freak.
Sylvia's attitude was very cold and unfriendly and upon our leaving she was very aggressive towards us and showed disdain for the Scottish pound note with which we used to pay her.
We didn't end up even staying the first night there as we just felt so uncomfortable.
