Beautiful Tibetan Buddhist Temple atop Benalmadena hills, has amazing scenic views over looking Costa Del Sol. This Stupa of Enlightenment is the largest in Europe and one of the largest in Western World. A wonderful surprise for the inner Buddhist in me. Absolutely a must visit. read more

Hot at the top We planned our visit to the Temple because it is only open during certain times, so we went to the Butterfly farm which is right next door. However, the lady who comes to open the Temple was an hour late and by that time we everyone waiting was hot and bothered, as it is on top of a cliff, some people even left. We went into the temple which was lovely but I think because we were fed up by that time, we couldn't enjoy it. The gift shop was not that good and didn't sell the bells that were hanging up outside the Butterfly Farm which were excellent. I am glad I went for the experience as it is beautiful. read more
