I'm very picky so I got 4 estimates. Stump's had the lowest price out of all 4. I paid $21,000. The…read moreother guys were quoting me $25-31k. I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

May 2025 I used Stump's Deck to revitalize a 20 year old composite screened porch and deck…read more Stunning in this day: they did the project for the price they quoted, they showed up on time, were efficient in their work - zero on-job slack, and created a wonderful product that is a significant upgrade from the deck they replaced. In both solidity of structure and also presentation. The workers were pleasant, tidy, cleaned up each day, and assisted working through some unknowns that cropped up. I used high quality lighting, and porch rail which included a flat top for drinks, and also LED lighted from underneath. I am not prone to writing reviews, generally, but where work is especially good it should be acknowledged so their business can expand. The design and quote phase introduced some new ideas to my intentions. Kevin, MIcah, and Jose did a great job on-site. Based on the back deck/porch experience I am considering a front porch overhaul as well.

In addition to what is shown in the photos, Dylan and Adam flooded my house, left me without…read morerunning water, did not follow township code, skipped township inspections which they lied about skipping, they cut through the support beams of my home leaving me to pay thousands of dollars for a structural engineer to evaluate and then a new contractor to fix. Since they skipped the framing inspection, I now have to pull up my floors and pay for that as well as pay to replace the new floors and pay to fix the support. They both have attitude problems and refused to cooperate with the attorney generals office to solve the issue. They did work on a friends house and put her and her family's safety in jeopardy as well. They failed to show up to court after being subpoenaed in a civil case. Dylan is still harassing me for money even though he was paid what was on our contract. He is claiming he did work that he did not do. I also had to hire a new contractor to fix the siding on my house since Dylan cracked the existing siding. He also spilled concrete on the siding, on my driveway, and on my pavers. He claims to have insurance;however, the insurance policy does not cover his work. It only covers damage to existing property. Do not hire A and D. They also go by Top Tier and Top Level Contractors. I spoke to a lawyer who advised their contracts are not even legal since they fail to provide their license numbers. This job was supposed to be done December 2022 and it still is incomplete. They disappear for days without answering a text or a phone call. Adam had the audacity to show up to my house stating he couldn't pay rent so we fronted him and he STILL didn't finish the job. Adams wife also decided to harass me on Facebook stating this work was acceptable because I am living in my home....the truth is I was living in my home until I had the township inspection and they deemed it unsafe for me to live in. Recently, I reached out to the Lower Salford Police Department due to Dylan's harassment for more money. Currently there is a cease communication in place. He was advised if he contacted me again there would he harassment charges.
