I saw they had done mermaid themed cakes in the past and that was my daughter's birthday theme this year so I reached out and ordered over the phone. I checked out the place when I was picking it up and it is a nice little bakery with a lot of various things ready to go such as pastries and donuts. Picking up the cake went smoothly, they do charge a credit card fee so be sure to bring cash if you don't want to pay that. The price for the cake though was very reasonable. Not only was the cake adorable, it actually tasted amazing. I'm not a big cake fan and it's rare I want to eat any of the leftover cake after a birthday but this chocolate chip cake was actually delicious. I would definitely order from here again.

First thing that happens is the owner gives me and my son each a free banana muffin from the cooling rack. Then he gives one to the other customer who walked in right after us. It was fabulous! We knew we couldn't go wrong here so we decided to try a bunch of things. Cannoli, brownies, cupcakes, muffins--all delicious. And let me tell you about the blueberry muffin...I have never seen so many blueberries in one muffin! (Look at my photos--you'll see!) It was perfectly moist and had just the right amount of crumb topping. Perfection! I love knowing that all of the items were fresh and made without chemicals and preservatives--just like old fashioned bakeries! I will definitely be going back, and the best part is, I now know there is no reason for me to bake anything at my beach house--I can just let Stefan at Blue Dolphin do the baking for me :) OH-I almost forgot to mention that he added TWO MORE free banana muffins to our box!

They were supposed to be buttercream icing. When asked what kind of icing we wanted, I specifically asked for it to be the thick buttercream icing and not the whipped icing . For the price, I was expecting quality icing but the texture was not good at all. As someone who LOVES cake this was not my favorite experience with a bakery.
