Tried to get ice cream but the worker closed the shop earlier than the posted closing time. Multiple individuals were turned away.

The ice cream shop had wonderful workers. However, the shop had an odd chemical smell. The ice cream and variety of cones was delicious.

Oh my... Kirk's Ice Cream is AMAZING!…read more If you love Blue Bell ice cream, this is your place. They have what feels like every Blue Bell flavor you could ask for, and choosing just one is almost impossible. The scoops are enormous! Every time I go, I tell myself I'm only getting one or two scoops. Then I end up ordering three because it's just that good. Somehow, after finishing it, I'm already thinking about what flavor I'm getting on my next visit. This is one of those places you have to experience for yourself. The ice cream is delicious, the portions are generous, and it's absolutely worth the stop.

These people are cheating! I am in a whole other state expecting to try some local ice cream maker…read moreor homemade ice cream. What did I find here? Read to find out. It seems like every block along this highway, close to the airport area, has pancakes and ice cream. I told myself that I would try these people before I left the state. I walk into this place and it looks sort of like an old school ice cream parlor from a few decades ago. I see many barrels of ice cream and sherbet. I even see "NSA" ice cream, which means "no sugar added, which means I immediately lost interest in viewing it. They have a wide variety of flavors which included black walnut ice cream. Black walnut just doesn't seem to be found that often in the local grocery chains in the Houston Metropolitan Area. I asked for a sample of the banana pudding ice cream and the guy dug up to his elbow to get me a sample on the tiny wooden, flat spoon. I was not rushed to make a decision, and when I finally did, they gave me huge scoops of ice cream to fill my pint container. Don't judge me! Ice cream makes my soul happy. I have never been to such a generous ice cream parlor. They did have some brand I have never heard of, but they definitely had a Texas staple brand ice cream as well. I saw all those Blue Bell containers! I can't fault this place for having good taste. They have a decent price point and very friendly staff. I would definitely return here if I'm in the area. By the way, if you're curious to know what four flavors I picked: Butter pecan Praline and cream Black walnut Pistachio almond
