Out of all the ice cream shops on Atlantic Ave in Delray, this is easily one of our top go-to spots because it is incredibly kid-friendly. The staff is exceptionally patient--they happily let the kids try new flavors without ever making us feel rushed or frustrated. Plus, the ice cream is amazing (it's Ben & Jerry's, so you can't go wrong!). We also love that they host a super fun event with free ice cream for kids on Free Cone Day every April 14th. It's always a hit with the local families! read more

Ben & Jerry’s - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Ben & Jerry's is always solid for a sweet fix, but honestly the prices feel a little steep for what you get. The ice cream still slaps, the flavors are fun, and the staff was chill, but my wallet definitely felt it more than expected. Good treat spot, just be ready to pay a bit extra. read more

The hype just doesn't match the reality. I was shocked. The chocolate tasted freezer burned, and I heard a lady saying they were skimpy on the whipped cream, too. Maybe they should stick to ice cream quality and stay out of politics. read more

I didn't even know there was a Ben & Jerry's in the area! I came in close to their closing time and they kept going. There was a line and they made sure to handle everyone before cleaning up. The staff weren't as quick as I thought they would be but when it was my turn, I could see why. They asked questions and made sure to handle our orders with care. A great variety of flavors are posted on the wall. For 2 people, the ice cream in a cup came out to $11. They have seating inside and outside. read more

The chocolate PB ice cream had some issues. It tasted off and could not be finished at all. Also, you cannot see the flavors before you order, you had read some piece of paper with very small print on the wall. Get Gelato next door instead. read more

Ben & Jerry’s - Tasting bad - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

I stopped by for some ice cream on a hot Florida night. I ended up ordering the s'mores cone, which wasn't bad, and I wanted the peanut buttercup ice cream, but they ran out. I ended up getting the cookie dough ice cream, but it was just missing the cookie dough. The cost was just over $9. There are much better ice cream places on Atlantic Ave. read more

Ben & Jerry’s - S'mores cone - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

There are so many ice cream shops on the ave to choose from but I decided to give this place a try. Ben & Jerry's has wonderful ice cream flavors to choose from- that's pretty obvious. They have tons of combos to choose from and unique flavors, making them a classic. As far as the overall experience goes, it was mediocre. Completely empty with almost no decor. A printed sheet of paper to describe the ice cream flavors that was as boring as could be and NOT kid friendly at all. No music was playing. No friendly staff. I brought two young girls here expecting to have a wonderful time for a birthday celebration but was extremely let down. It almost reminded me of a gas station with extremely overpriced items. If you're looking for a delicious ice cream cone after a day on the beach, look elsewhere. There are plenty of shops to chose from that will have a much warmer, inviting feeling. read more

Common first date option: Walk on the beach. Great first date option: Walk on the beach at night when the sky is filled with stars while enjoying an ice cream cone from Ben & Jerry's. I can't say I've tried the other parlors in the area. But the pull to this place was knowing that it had dairy free items. Servers were friendly and the ac was blowing full force as we decided on our flavors. The coconut is life! What's better than eating ice cream on the beach? read more

great ice cream, ok staff. They were both hard to understand because they were mumbling.

Popped in for a couple small cups of ice cream and sorbet while walking Delray on Atlantic Avenue to enjoy a weekend afternoon. The Coffee flavor that son got was delicious and had some dark chocolate chips. This would also make one great shake for mocha / coffee lovers. Wife and our second son got Sorbets / Sherbert type flavors. Both had berries and sweet and refreshing. Our sons flavor was a Lemon Berry Mix and had some choco chips and lemon was tart too and played well against the dark berries. The employee was nice and very accommodating with a fair size portion for small cups. Under twenty bucks for all three cups and tip too. Wife thought the wood disposable spoons were almost too nice to immediately dispose after use. read more

I'm not really sure why the ratings are so low for this place, but I can definitely say that their ice cream is very tasty and fresh. It's not as sweet as the ice cream on Avenue, which is a big plus. If you are a mother looking for good quality ice cream for your child, this is the place to go. You don't have to worry about giving them a pound of sugar in one ice cream cone. Highly recommended! read more

Nina, refused to make a milkshake because it was 45 minutes before closing and they had already cleaned the blenders.

I found it very interesting the location is next to two-three ice cream shops too. My friend and I found that very weird to have so many ice cream shops on the same block and one or two doors down from each other. Like I said interesting.... However, medium size and clean location. The staff members were friendly. Crazy cool and different flavors. Go in and go try to taste some cool and new flavors!! They have waffle cones and bowls. They have waffles with sprinkles on them and plain. The waffle cone was tasty and it was huge too. Not far from the beach. They have indoor and outdoor seating. read more

This place is dirty and the bathroom was beyond usable. I am glad to say the ice cream s still good!!! Ben & Jerry should really be ashamed to associate themselves with this establishment...I hope no one calls the health dept! I believe the person who served us was the owner Josh. read more

Ben & Jerry’s - boots on the moooon - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

After spending a day on the beach in Delray, we were looking for something cold & refreshing. Just a short walk from the beach, Ben & Jerry's was beckoning us with their delightful assortment of unique & tasty ice cream flavors. The shop was very crowded because it was Prez Day weekend. No problem. The line moved quickly because the owners (husband and wife) anticipated the crowds and were working alongside the lone employee. The wait gave us time to read about the ice cream options and make our selection. We chose a milkshake made with Chocolate Peanut Buttery Swirl. We were nearly drooling thinking about the thick, creamy milkshake coming our way. Want whipped cream on top? Sure! We even asked for spoons in addition to straws, expecting that we'd have more success scooping the milkshake from the cup rather than sipping it through a straw. Unfortunately, the milkshake was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It was very thin & liquidy. It seemed as though the ratio of milk to ice cream was way off. No need for those spoons :( Although there were a few small pieces of chocolate ice cream in the mix, it really didn't have the chocolate-peanut butter taste we were expecting. The wife owner waited on us. She was very pleasant, as were all of the people working that day despite the crowd of eager customers. Perhaps she was not experienced in milkshake preparation. I hope this was simply a case of a lack of training as opposed to the normal method of preparing milkshakes at Ben & Jerry's. We would have questioned the owner about the milkshake at the time, but we didn't want to disrupt the already busy operation. So we drank our shake and vowed to stick with scoops of ice cream in the future. read more

They have a lot of ice cream flavors, although not a lot with vanilla ice cream. I got their salted caramel blondie ice cream. Very good and super sweet. If you don't have that much of a sweet tooth, this one may be too sweet for you. Nice spot to stop in for some ice cream during a hot day downtown. read more

So... It's Ben and Jerry's. The ice cream is awesome, the flavors are vibrant and diverse. Just like most Ben and Jerry's. There is one table inside that fits 4 people and 2 or 3 similarly sized tables outside. The people who work here are amazing. Good, friendly folk. As good as it gets. read more

Travelling to Florida for the first time in July, the heat and humidity got me, I NEEDED an ice cream break during my beach day. This was my very first time at a Ben and Jerry's, I wanted to pick a flavor that I couldn't buy at the store. I ended up getting the Coconut Seven Layer! Basically an almond joy flavor it was soo good! I was between coconut and Oatmeal, they let us taste them and I went with the coconut. Although there was only one worker, he was speedy. He served a large family, and made a milkshake for the person ahead of me and I felt I didn't wait long to get my order taken care of. The store is clean, almost all flavors were in stock and the worker was polite and fast! Great experience. read more

It's a clean, quick, and friendly location. I would imagine that at peak times there could be a fairly good line on hot days as it's close to the beach. I've heard it can be busy but it wasn't while we were there. We did a scoop together of each, half Phish Food and Triple Caramel Chunk. Totally awesome. The chocolate, caramel, and marshmallow blended great. It was good for 2 of us to share. Otherwise I think it would have been too rich. But we are older and don't eat sweets that much. I would only get a small scoop if alone, but a scoop of each for us in a small cup worked great. Never been to a Ben & Jerry's shop before so it was a nice treat. Usually just get what I can find in the grocery store. Just remember you'll need to find parking along the street. There are meters that take everything but coins. read more

Overpriced. Support local ice cream shops that make their own. Much better than this place.

Ben & Jerry's has the best ice cream in the world. I love it so much I dream about it at night. The Butter Pecan is the best dessert I've ever tasted. They used to sell it in grocery stores, but those great times are gone for some reason. I was totally crushed when Ben& Jerry's closed their Boca location. So I drive to Delray Beach to get it. I get a gallon of Butter Pecan hand-packed (4 quarts). I take it home with my heart beating quickly, knowing I'll be having fantastic times. I get up in the middle of the night and eat a pint of my favorite ice cream. The creaminess and flavor of Butter Pecan is just indescribable. If Delray Beach Ben & Jerry's ever closes, I'll be in tears. If you haven't experienced this you are missing the experience of a lifetime. In case you haven't noticed it, when I like something, I really like it!!! read more

We came to the Delray Beach shop and had a party of 6 people. We checked out and ate outside. I went back inside to purchase a drink and when I was done checking out the man behind the counter asked if I was going to leave a tip since the man in my party didn't leave him one. I was really taken back by the question and felt it was really audacious of him. I told him no and said people don't typically tip at an ice cream shop (it's not standard as it's not a high level of service and they don't work off tips. He also did not go above and beyond nor was he super friendly). He also shouldn't be asking for one...if people tip employees where yipping is not standard, it's of their own free will. What he did instead is make me not want to tip him. The tip I should've left is tell him not to ask for one or do something deserving of one! read more

It's Ben and Jerry's - that in itself needs no explanation. Samples galore - they sell pints in the store, even the new non-dairy! They have speciality flavors only in store.(brown butter bourbon) massive waffle bowls, indoor and outdoor seating. 4 stars because they don't sell the non-dairy flavors in anything besides pints so no samples of that for me. read more

Who can argue with outstanding Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavors. What I appreciated about our visit is that when my son asked for a clean ice cream scoop due to a gluten allergy (he is actually Celiac) he took great care in getting a clean scoop & opened a fresh ice cream container so there was no chance of cross contamination. I really appreciated how nice and cautious he was. In addition, my daughter dropped her cone and they quickly replaced it turning her frown into a smile! read more

Covid protocols were followed by the staff (including both masks and gloves).... and the place was nice and clean. Anthony was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of hand-packed pints.... and he was more than happy to put two or three flavors in each pint. He even placed the first in the freezer while he packed the second so it would not melt. So nice! The ice cream was as delicious and decadent as Ben & Jerry's always is. Pre-packed pints were a couple of dollars more each than in the grocery store.... but not that surprising in a tourist area. read more

NEVER AGAIN! We are local residents and we took our family to get ice cream. My 10 year old niece forgot her mask. LONG STORY SHORT.....When we entered the guy behind the counter refused to serve us because she did not have a mask on. I had a mask on and the rest of the family was outside. I explained to him that she forgot it and that it's not a big deal, we don't believe in masking children anyways, it's fine she just wants ice cream. He refused to serve us, was completely nasty and basically we left. When I was leaving I could NOT stop myself so , I reminded him that his front door was disgusting and maybe he should spend more time wiping down and cleaning the surfaces that a 100 people are touching instead of worrying about the mask. I also explained to him that the American Flag that hangs above his door was a bit of a joke because he was being completely un-American and disrespectful to situations during crazy times. We will not go back. I have shared this with friends and family. And unfortunately they will lose our business. This is how I protest. At this point as a small business you have a choice and being compassionate to all situations is one of those traits you should have as a small biz owner and as an American. read more

I haven't been to a Ben and Jerry's in a long time and I love the multitude of flavors they have available to try!!! Definitely coming back

I went to this ice cream store after a day at the beach to cool down with some ice cream. For one, the prices are ridiculous. $6 for two scoops of ice cream? I ordered the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. One, we could not see what we were getting before we bought it. So, I payed for my cup and it was just plain chocolate ice cream with no brownie in it. I continued to eat it thinking maybe the brownie chunks sank to the bottom, but nothing. I am so disappointed that I wasted $6 on a cup of plain chocolate ice cream rather than what I ordered. read more

There used to be a Ben & Jerry's in Boca Raton and one in Deerfield Beach. Sadly they both closed a few years ago. I hope the one in Delray Beach stays open for a long time. My husband's favorite flavor is Ben & Jerry's butter pecan. It isn't sold in the grocery stores any more. You have to go to a Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop to get it. My husband and I were in the area last night so we stopped by for ice cream cones. The server behind the counter was very nice. My husband had butter pecan. I enjoyed my berry berry extraordinary sorbet. We each left the shop with an ice cream cone in one hand and a quart of butter pecan ice cream in the other. read more

So I have always gotten the Ben and Jerry's our of the freezer at the store. I thought I saw all the flavors then. Actually going into a bed and Jerry's store was so overwhelming but in a good way! There were so many flavors to choose from! Having weight loss surgery I can't have a lot of sugar.
