    Tasting bad
    Brad W.

The chocolate PB ice cream had some issues. It tasted off and could not be finished at all. Also, you cannot see the flavors before you order, you had read some piece of paper with very small print on the wall. Get Gelato next door instead.

I stopped by for some ice cream on a hot Florida night. I ended up ordering the s'mores cone, which wasn't bad, and I wanted the peanut buttercup ice cream, but they ran out. I ended up getting the cookie dough ice cream, but it was just missing the cookie dough. The cost was just over $9. There are much better ice cream places on Atlantic Ave.

love that they offer multiple nondairy flavors that arent just sorbets. i got the strawberry marshmallow nondairy flavor and it was good. the atmosphere was a little tense in there between the workers.

I found it very interesting the location is next to two-three ice cream shops too. My friend and I found that very weird to have so many ice cream shops on the same block and one or two doors down from each other. Like I said interesting.... However, medium size and clean location. The staff members were friendly. Crazy cool and different flavors. Go in and go try to taste some cool and new flavors!! They have waffle cones and bowls. They have waffles with sprinkles on them and plain. The waffle cone was tasty and it was huge too. Not far from the beach. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Love their ice cream flavors and this one is no exception. Yummy cookie dough core with toffee bits throughout the chocolate ice cream! Yummy and another solid flavor

This place is dirty and the bathroom was beyond usable. I am glad to say the ice cream s still good!!! Ben & Jerry should really be ashamed to associate themselves with this establishment...I hope no one calls the health dept! I believe the person who served us was the owner Josh.

I paid 180$ for a cake that she put the wrong filling in and she wont return my calls!!!…read more This place was recommended to me by a friend so I had high standards for this place. This happend a little less than a month ago . It was my daughters first birthday and I went all out for it. I knew what kind of cake I wanted. A three teard yo gabba gabba cake. I called to make my appointment for a consultation and it was a game of phone tag with her, and once she never even called me back. So anyways I Made my appointment with her and I ordered the cake. Top tear was to be vanilla with fresh strawberries. Middle tear was to be chocolate with white chocolate gnash. And the bottom tear (which myself and tons of people were looking forward to) was to be cream cheesecake with cream cheese filling. I went to go pick up the cake and it looked AMAZING! 180$ well spent , so I thought. As I cut and passed out the bottom tear that everyone was dying to try, my friend came up to me and told me it tasted like lemon. So I tried a piece and sure enough, it was lemon. So I stormed off and called couture cakes and left a message telling the lady what happend and told her that I wasn't too happy that it was lemon, and I asked her nicely to call me back and we could work something out. She has yet to have called me back! It was totally not worth the 180$

At our tasting appointment, she was understanding when my then-fiance (now husband) had to step out to take care of an important business thing over the phone. She was so fantastic and the cake was so delicious that my parents used her for my grandmother's 80th birthday cake in June. It was shaped like a Chinese takeout box and everyone at the birthday party was amazed by how much of it was edible (one person even tried the fondant fortune cookie!). Again, a delicious cake. Any time I'm going to get a cake (or even a cupcake) in the south Florida area, I'll go to Maria!

I used the app to buy an assortment of cookies from Chip City today. I paid $7 for a few random cookies. With the app, they have a strict policy where you cannot make any alterations or adjustments to the order. You get what you get and you don't get upset. They tasted good. Not as crazy as Crumbl Cookies, the flavors tasted more cozy and kinda like you can recreate them at home. I like that the cookies weren't raw, they were nicely baked. With YooGoodToGo they don't really serve you hot food, so the cookies were room temperature. The employee who handed me my order was so nice. She told me all of the flavors she gave me, and even told me to be cautious when reheating them because of the frosting. The ambiance of Chip City Delray is ADORABLE! I had an iced cappuccino, while others in the group got matcha, pastries, and a few other drinks. We sat outside under an umbrella, which made for a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and you can tell why this place has a loyal following. The only thing that surprised me was that, since it was Mother's Day and it was pretty obvious I was the mom in the group, no one wished me a happy Mother's Day. Not a huge deal, but it would've been a thoughtful touch. Also, parking is pretty limited, so be prepared and careful when pulling in. Overall, still definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a cozy coffee spot in the area!

Our server Craig went above and beyond. Their choice of tableware is fine dining worthy. Their menu is approachable and straightforward. They offer 1 special, which is the fish of the day. Everything else is on the menu. Our meal was sensational, beginning with an expertly made vodka martini. I could tell the olives in the cocktail were noticeably better in quality than what is often served. We started with a few orders of baked clams. They were small and whole. The sauce was plentiful, enough to sop up the garlic and lemon with their exceptional bread. Speaking of bread, I am usually a butter girl, however there was no need for beurre when they serve a top notch olive oil like they do. It was peppery and robust. I could tell that there were efforts made to pair the bread and olive oil just right. Details matter here. I could have made a meal of just this, but alas, we ordered a lasagna for the table to share with a salad. The chopped salad was ok but ordinary. We probably did not need it. The lasagna. The lasagna. The lasagna. Let's talk lasagna. It is made with a homemade sheet of pasta, a tad thicker than a dried variety. It is rolled with dots of beef that was big on flavor but did not overwhelm the pillows of soft ricotta and mozzarella cheese atop a slightly sweet, but super-bright and fresh tomato sauce. A few fried basil leaves (again, a detail) actually made a difference in elevating this dish. The basil leaves were not just a garnish. Every ingredient was thought out, restrained in a good way, harmonious and well balanced. We then had a chicken parmesan (we chose their vodka sauce which was subtle without the aggressive and excessive use of cream so often found in vodka sauce), a cacio e pepe spaghetti and lamb chops. The spaghetti was the star of the pasta dish. There are times where a sauce can overwhelm, but at Campi the Chef honored the pasta. Thank you. Our lamb chops were perfectly cooked medium-rare with just the right amount of char in its own jus, a dab of garlic and parsley. A double espresso was a smidge watery. Tiramisu was again, expertly made with hints of soaked lady finger enveloped with slightly sweetened mascarpone cheese whipped to perfection. Light as a feather; full on flavor. Overall, this is a 5-star restaurant. It is low-key but elevated. The owners care and it shows.

Extremely disappointing experience on March 7 around 6:00 PM…read more Before this event we have called to ask about reserving a high-top table and were told that high-tops could not be reserved. When we arrived, several high-tops were open. We approached our favorite server to see if he could help us , but he was told not to serve us. Shortly after, a host informed us that the high-tops were "reservation only," which directly contradicted what we had been told on the phone. At that point there were also four open seats at the bar. I politely asked the "host" twice if he could help us take those seats, but he refused. During that time, other customers were allowed to take them. Eventually we were seated at a regular table. I then asked our server who the manager was so I could simply clarify the policy. She pointed out the same individual who had moved us from the high-top area. When I asked for his name (max), he came over moments later and told our group to leave the restaurant, referring to it as "his restaurant." There was no alcohol involved and no confrontation--just a simple request for clarification and the manager's name. Being asked to leave under those circumstances was both surprising and embarrassing. Unfortunately, the experience was further undermined when we noticed food residue on the wine glasses at our table, which raised additional concerns about basic service standards. We have been loyal customers and expected far better. A calm explanation of the seating policy could have resolved the situation easily. Instead, four customers were publicly removed from the restaurant for simply asking a question. I believe this situation could have been avoided with better training and an experience manager that matches this restaurants reputation price range. Very disappointing and an unfortunate reflection of the current management approach. I hope that Curt Huegel can do better!
