The other bartender literally told her something and you can tell that there was tension because she was literally not helping anyone and just standing there for like 10 minutes, talking to this girl while the other bartender was attending everyone at the bar running around. Like how are you Clocked into work kissing a customer? We were Like 1 foot away from her trying to get attention to get a drink . It was so unprofessional even for a dive bar I was shocked The only way I got her name is cause somebody was shouting at her, trying to get her attention. Only gave docs a 2 star cause I love it other than that bad bartender making it look bad

This place you can skip…read more It's a working man's bar that caters to the spanish speakers. I actually like Spanish music so that part was good with me. Been looking for good spanish bar in the area. Dance floor is small, no more then 8ppl. Juke box has a lot of good spanish jamz but it only has spanish. Asked for a whiskey sour. She didn't know what It was in it. Told her how to make it, they dont have sour mix. Asked for a paloma. She didnt know either. Explain, It's a commom spanish drink made up of tequila, squit soda and lime. they dont have Squirt. Settled for a cuba. The bottle ran out mid pour and they had no replacement bottle. Drink was watered down and weak. Cost of drink $10. This was for one drink Tuesday in Fontana. (Crowd size 5 pple, 6 if you count the bartender). Asked for a Johnny and coke. Still had to tell her what's in it. Yes, she really did ask. Again cost $10 per drink. Bottle didn't run out and it was still weak. The bartender girs are good to look at I'll give them that but they working the short skirts way harder then the drinks. Ask for your drinks in spanish it will make things easier. I won't return sadly, I wanted to like this place. I did like the music and the friendly people there really did but There's better places out here in both price point wise and ambience. Add $1 if paying with card.

I lived in San Bernardino for 20 years and drove past the Rustic Inn countless times, always…read moretelling myself I needed to try it. Unfortunately, we finally did on Friday after a long day, and the experience was very disappointing. When we walked in, I actually liked the atmosphere. The inside is nicely decorated and definitely captures that nostalgic, old-school feel. Our waitress came over for our drink orders, and I asked if they had Woodford Reserve for an Old Fashioned. She said yes, so I ordered an Old Fashioned and a Double Cheeseburger. My wife ordered a Dirty Martini and the Prime Rib. The drinks came first. I was disappointed to find that my Old Fashioned was made with a different whiskey. If the waitress had come back and told me they didn't carry Woodford Reserve, I would have gladly chosen something else. Instead, I received an Old Fashioned made with something other than what I specifically ordered. My wife's Martini was okay, so I figured we'd give dinner a chance. Unfortunately, dinner was just as disappointing. My wife's Prime Rib was barely warm and extremely salty. The au jus was also incredibly salty. Her meal came with a salad, vegetables, and a small, roughly 2-inch round piece of bread. Of everything on her plate, she said the salad was the only thing she actually enjoyed. My Double Cheeseburger was barely warm as well. The bun was dry and fell apart, almost as if it had been over-toasted. We each took only a couple of bites before deciding we'd rather just get the check and leave. Unfortunately, that turned into another frustrating part of the experience. It literally took about 30 minutes to get our check, and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. It's disappointing because I always thought of the Rustic Inn as one of those San Bernardino places that had been around forever--a place you went for a good drink, dinner, and a little nostalgia. Maybe at one point the Rustic Inn was the place to go. Based on our experience, unfortunately, that time appears to have passed.
