When I realized my friend is in the hospital due to an emergency surgery. I decided some beautiful flowers will cheer her up. Since I'm located in Charlotte NC. I decided to search for a florist via Yelp. I was able to place an order online, have it deliver to the hospital. I picked out a floral arrangement on the website. Pink roses, lilies and among other flowers because I know she like pink. Next day I received an email from them showing that it been delivered. But when my girlfriend sent a pic of the flowers. It look nothing like what I ordered. I was very upset. I spent $110+ to get the arrangement that I requested. And if you don't have these type in-house. I would like a call or email to give me the heads up.. I emailed them to let them know how unhappy I am. No return email back! I'm very disappointed! read more

Everyone I spoke to at Belva's, especially Deborah, was so helpful as I chose flowers for my brother-in-law's memorial service. I had numerous questions, and I didn't originally have some of the information that was needed (like the diameter of the urn), but everyone was patient throughout multiple phone calls as the order came together. We wanted the heart-shaped standing arrangement to be in the colors of a specific university, and Deborah said she would look it up to make sure the ribbon she chose matched as closely as possible. They were delivered to the service's location on time, and we're grateful that these flowers helped us honor the memory of our family member in such a beautiful way. (Belva's was also the only place that answered the phone the first time I called, which is another reason they got my business. Ordered a boutonnière here for my daughter's date for the prom. It was lovely and fresh. However, while we were out at Waterfront Park taking photos, we found no flower pin when my daughter went to pin on the boutonnière. All of us were disappointed. I didn't have a pin of any kind with me so off to prom without a boutonnière. Took it home stuck it in the fridge. . Always check your box for the pin. I will use Belva's again for sure but I'll always check for a pin. read more

Ordered a Boutonniere and a Corsage for prom. The Boutonniere looked great however the corsage did not. The flowers were already browning when I picked them up, the band that goes on the wrist was just a cheap, white Velcro strip and the flower fell off 10 minutes after being worn. Worst florist I've ever experienced. Now two days late with valentines flowers for my gf without even an email or returned call. I feel like I was mugged for a hundred bucks. UPDATED REVIEW: after several weeks and a few apologetic phone calls, the vendor corrected this issue. Apparently I should've received an automated email explaining my chosen flowers weren't available and couldn't be delivered. That email never came and I was still charged for the purchase. I was told I would be refunded and that he would even deliver a bouquet on the house, albeit a few days after Valentine's Day. This was above and beyond the call of duty and I was very appreciative. However it took another two weeks and several emails for the charge to finally be refunded. I think this place is well intentioned, but unorganized and perhaps not tech savvy. read more

Belva's dropped the ball on my flower order Monday for a friend who's husband just passed away. Although promised for Monday delivery, I was surprised 2 days later to never hear anything from my friend that she received it. When I called she said she never got it. I followed up with the florist and she said the driver couldn't find the house. They never followed up with me to tell me this and only after I called to ask did they deliver the flowers. They said they tried to reach the recipient, but given her husband had just passed they weren't able to reach her. They should have contacted me as well to tell me it was never delivered as I was the initiator of the order. I would not order here again. read more

I ordered Flowers for my daughter, a general "thinking of you bouquet" I live out of State of Delivery. The Belva team went above and beyond for delivery. I arranged what seemed to be a flawless delivery on a Monday, until my grandson got ill and she couldn't come to work. The woman even commented on how she would rather have a card because no one ever pays with cash anymore..... Sorry lady, payment is payment. I've used Belva's for years and never had an issue with them, so when I ordered flowers for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, I didn't think twice for who I would call. I was a bit surprised yesterday when I didn't receive a text from her or anything, and she didn't mention anything when she got home. Finally, I asked her, only to find she didn't receive anything. I called Belva's this morning and spoke to a girl who plainly said "yea, we were busy yesterday. We're planning on delivering them today". When I remarked that this wouldn't work, since today isn't Valentine's Day, she replied "as long as she gets them, right?", then told me she couldn't authorize a refund. That girl just didn't get it. And no call or anything to let me know - if they weren't able to deliver them, they should have called and I would have picked them up myself - the delivery address is only about a mile from their shop, so it wasn't even out of their way. I don't know what's going on over there, but they lost a longtime customer. When they absolutely have to get there, you may want to think about using someone else. Never again. One star is about 6 too many for the lack of service I received from them. read more
