Said that they did not go to Mount Placid all locals.. We were without flowers for our list that was very embarrassing.

My daughter just moved to the neighborhood, Belva's created a birthday bouquet and had it waiting for her when she came home from work. It was beautiful! read more

I was recently gifted an arrangement from Belvas Flower Shop! The quality of the arrangement was a refreshing surprise, and even on their second week they are still standing strong. The arrangement came with a beautiful assortment of colors and florals that complement each-other very well. The stems are still thriving and I love getting to look at the arrangement ever day. I would definitely recommend Belvas if you are in the Mount Pleasant area! The person who delivered the flowers also called to let me know they were there, which was thoughtful and helpful!! read more

Been using them for years and they always do a nice job at a fair market price. Anticipate the 15 buck delivery fee at checkout.

I'm always skeptical when purchasing flowers in a different state. I have read and heard numerous horror stories. Ie. Flowers never sent, not as pictured, damaged flowers, etc. I needed to send a get well bouquet for a dear relative in S.C. I researched a few near her hometown, along with stories of how out-of-towners were treated. Yikes! Then I found Belva's Flower Shop in Mt. Pleasant. Shining reviews and beautiful arrangements. This was the one! Ordering was effortless and my cousin loved the flowers. Phew! Thank you Belva's Flower Shop for a wonderful experience! read more

When I realized my friend is in the hospital due to an emergency surgery. I decided some beautiful flowers will cheer her up. Since I'm located in Charlotte NC. I decided to search for a florist via Yelp. I was able to place an order online, have it deliver to the hospital. I picked out a floral arrangement on the website. Pink roses, lilies and among other flowers because I know she like pink. Next day I received an email from them showing that it been delivered. But when my girlfriend sent a pic of the flowers. It look nothing like what I ordered. I was very upset. I spent $110+ to get the arrangement that I requested. And if you don't have these type in-house. I would like a call or email to give me the heads up.. I emailed them to let them know how unhappy I am. No return email back! I'm very disappointed! read more

I was SO IMPRESSED and appreciative of the personal service when I called from out of state! I was particular in my requirements - color - price range and selection of flowers. Belva nailed it!!! Outstanding experience with Kristen! I ended my call from Florida 11:32am and the plant was delivered by 1:09pm. a gift to congratulate a dear friend in her first professional job. Had called 2 other local florists and neither answered. I'm so glad! Kristen graciously helped me pick out the plant for exactly the price I had in mind, including delivery. I highly recommend Belva's, now my go-to florist in Charleston. Kudos!! read more

Great customer service - friendly and helpful. Located in convenient area. Kristen is delightful.

They created a beautiful arrangement for my daughter for her birthday. She loved the flowers and they were high quality.

Great service and beautiful flowers! Thank you! The flowers were lovely and the delivery was right on time.

Everyone I spoke to at Belva's, especially Deborah, was so helpful as I chose flowers for my brother-in-law's memorial service. I had numerous questions, and I didn't originally have some of the information that was needed (like the diameter of the urn), but everyone was patient throughout multiple phone calls as the order came together. We wanted the heart-shaped standing arrangement to be in the colors of a specific university, and Deborah said she would look it up to make sure the ribbon she chose matched as closely as possible. They were delivered to the service's location on time, and we're grateful that these flowers helped us honor the memory of our family member in such a beautiful way. (Belva's was also the only place that answered the phone the first time I called, which is another reason they got my business. I realize there are legit reasons a business doesn't answer its phone the first time, but just sharing that it made a difference for us.) read more

Great looking bunch and they followed our specs wonderfully and the arrangement arrived at my new nephews home for the family on time. I felt it was a good price as well. Not much else to say. Ordered a boutonnière here for my daughter's date for the prom. It was lovely and fresh. However, while we were out at Waterfront Park taking photos, we found no flower pin when my daughter went to pin on the boutonnière. All of us were disappointed. I didn't have a pin of any kind with me so off to prom without a boutonnière. Took it home stuck it in the fridge. . Always check your box for the pin. I will use Belva's again for sure but I'll always check for a pin. read more

Ordered a Boutonniere and a Corsage for prom. The Boutonniere looked great however the corsage did not. The flowers were already browning when I picked them up, the band that goes on the wrist was just a cheap, white Velcro strip and the flower fell off 10 minutes after being worn. Overpriced, quality of the flowers were unsatisfactory at best. Not impressed. See picture attached. read more

When only the best is good enough. Gorgeous Valentine's roses. Debra and her team always go the extra mile to make an arrangement special.

I cannot recommend Belva's highly enough or without reservation. I typically use Tiger Lily but did not have the time to drive downtown so searched yelp and came across Belva's. Ashley was friendly and courteous and seemed to know exactly what I wanted or was trying to create. An email was sent with confirmation of delivery as well as a photo of the arrangement - see uploaded photo. Stunning! I was blown away for the price I paid - very reasonable. Worst florist I've ever experienced. Now two days late with valentines flowers for my gf without even an email or returned call. I feel like I was mugged for a hundred bucks. UPDATED REVIEW: after several weeks and a few apologetic phone calls, the vendor corrected this issue. Apparently I should've received an automated email explaining my chosen flowers weren't available and couldn't be delivered. That email never came and I was still charged for the purchase. I was told I would be refunded and that he would even deliver a bouquet on the house, albeit a few days after Valentine's Day. This was above and beyond the call of duty and I was very appreciative. However it took another two weeks and several emails for the charge to finally be refunded. I think this place is well intentioned, but unorganized and perhaps not tech savvy. read more

Belva's dropped the ball on my flower order Monday for a friend who's husband just passed away. Although promised for Monday delivery, I was surprised 2 days later to never hear anything from my friend that she received it. When I called she said she never got it. I followed up with the florist and she said the driver couldn't find the house. They never followed up with me to tell me this and only after I called to ask did they deliver the flowers. They said they tried to reach the recipient, but given her husband had just passed they weren't able to reach her. They should have contacted me as well to tell me it was never delivered as I was the initiator of the order. I would not order here again. read more

I ordered Flowers for my daughter, a general "thinking of you bouquet" I live out of State of Delivery. The Belva team went above and beyond for delivery. I arranged what seemed to be a flawless delivery on a Monday, until my grandson got ill and she couldn't come to work. The Belva delivery called and said" no problem, we will put them back in our cooler and be in touch for no extra charge". 2 days later the beautiful bouquet was delivered and my daughter was very surprised and delighted after a couple stressful days. Thank you! Very helpful and Professional & Beautiful bouquet! read more

Ordered from here for my grandfathers viewing. Paid cash for flowers from his grandchildren. The woman even commented on how she would rather have a card because no one ever pays with cash anymore..... Sorry lady, payment is payment. The order was placed at the same time the casket arrangements were made to insure it was delivered with everything else. We arrived to the funeral home to see the flowers I had ordered never even made it. Wish now I would have paid with a card because I would dispute the transaction. I've used Belva's for years and never had an issue with them, so when I ordered flowers for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, I didn't think twice for who I would call. I was a bit surprised yesterday when I didn't receive a text from her or anything, and she didn't mention anything when she got home. Finally, I asked her, only to find she didn't receive anything. I called Belva's this morning and spoke to a girl who plainly said "yea, we were busy yesterday. We're planning on delivering them today". When I remarked that this wouldn't work, since today isn't Valentine's Day, she replied "as long as she gets them, right?", then told me she couldn't authorize a refund. That girl just didn't get it. And no call or anything to let me know - if they weren't able to deliver them, they should have called and I would have picked them up myself - the delivery address is only about a mile from their shop, so it wasn't even out of their way. I don't know what's going on over there, but they lost a longtime customer. When they absolutely have to get there, you may want to think about using someone else. Never again. One star is about 6 too many for the lack of service I received from them. read more
