The price was incredibly fair for the quality of work, but most importantly I appreciate how they respected my home while they worked which is something I have found hard to come by. I will definitely recommend this group and will be using them again in the future.

I hired Yanez Remodeling company for an interior painting project and, unfortunately, the…read moreexperience left much to be desired. While they may excel with smaller homes, it quickly became apparent that they were overwhelmed by the scope of my property. The timeline was extended due to personal reasons, resulting in an additional day added with last minute notice. The quality of work was inconsistent throughout the house. Corners were left as it appeared in some areas unfinished or barley touched, there were noticeable gaps and overspray, and paint ended up on the hardwood floors, stair railings and other areas. I am still getting paint spots up. Moving furniture led to scratched flooring, which was never addressed. Despite a clear conversation about rehanging a large framed picture properly, it was returned crooked. A curtain rod holder was broken, and the drapes were left on the floor. No compensation or discount was offered. The attention to detail simply wasn't there, and it showed in both the execution and the way the space was left after the job was done. I'm disappointed with the outcome and would advise future clients to consider the size and complexity of their project before hiring.

I used K&D services to do touch up paint to my house. The initial consultation went well. It was…read morethe day over service and there after that went south. On the day of service he was 4 hours late and I had to initiate where he was. My husband even called to see where he was but he kept saying "I'm down the street" or I'm "in front of your house" which was not the truth because I have cameras and could tell if someone was in front of my house or not. He originally quoted me $585 to paint 4 walls and fix a drywall issue. The walls were painted but a completely different color and texture which I didn't mind because it blended but he did not properly edge the ceilings and free handed the entire job. There were streak marks from his job versus the original builders/ contractors job, unfinished edges by the ceilings. I asked him to come back to finish the job and he said that he would. On the day that he promised he would come back he told me he had to take his nephew to court for spitting on someone or some out of this world excuse. At this point I was over him. So I asked for at least $150 back for the Job he didn't complete. He read the text but did not reply. Not to mention he never did the dry wall repair that he included in his original quote. I have never been so disappointed in a contractor in all my years of being a landlord. I don't even think he's licensed to be honest. I would NEVER hire this guy. What a scam artist. Buyer beware!

Joe Iannelli took a completely different--and honest--approach. He resanded and refinished the floors to achieve one uniform color, saving me a significant amount of money compared to installing a new floor. Joe worked entirely on his own, carefully protected everything, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. He has a great personality and strictly specializes in hardwood flooring, which truly shows in the quality of his work. I later referred Joe to a client with a million-dollar home who was told by several companies that she needed all new floors. Joe refinished them instead, saving her a lot of money, and several of her neighbors ended up hiring him as well. Joe also refinished the floors and stairs in my second home. The previous owner had removed the stair runner and painted the sides white. Joe restored the stairs to beautiful natural wood. Everyone comments on the floors and stairs and asks who did them. I highly recommend Joe Iannelli.

I wrote a scathing review a year ago which somehow did not get posted. A year later my unsealed,…read moresanded (which I never asked for) grout is not only showing huge amounts of grossness, it's obvious the grout isn't neatly contained within the grout lines but has huge areas where it's on the tile. This was the only place I found the specific tile I was looking for and the owner said it would be a 2 week lead time which worked perfectly for a very tight schedule. After waiting a few days after the estimated installation time I contacted him and he said it would be another 2 weeks, or possibly a month. I had another tile installer who did a beautiful job in the kitchen and as soon as I said I could have the other installer pick up the materials I'd already purchased, somehow the owner found a way to make it happen the next day. I can only imagine he was scrapping the bottom of the barrel on subcontracted installers, and they were nice, showed up on time, worked hard, but they were very inexperienced. Their work was very sub-par with huge wavy lines at the edges, uneven tile setting, and I don't even know what they did with the floor in the shower area but it's thick, it's weird, and the trim is atrocious. The owner showed up halfway through the installation and mentioned that he'd sent me an email about a price increase. I hadn't seen it, would never have agreed to it, and not only that he never once contacted either me or my husband by phone to confirm. If I wasn't in such a time crunch I'd have thrown him off the jobsite right then and there. He's a liar and a weasel and has no control over the shoddy workmanship his subcontractors do. Look up Michal Battle if you want tile done right.
